Discussing opposition to his executive amnesty orders...Obama said he would veto the vote because his actions are “the right thing to do...“What we’ve done is we’ve expanded my authorities under executive action...so now the question is, how can we get a law passed.”

Treasury won't explain decision to make $3 billion in Obamacare payments
The U.S. Treasury Department has rebuffed a request by House Ways and Means Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan, R- Wis., to explain $3 billion in payments that were made to health insurers even though Congress never authorized the spending through annual appropriations. At issue are payments to insurers known as cost-sharing subsidies.
