For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

How can you have a pre-tribulation rapture, if the RESURRECTION must happen just prior to the Rapture? And, they both meet/greet the Lord in the Air. And notice that the whole sentence is connected by a Colon, which means it is speaking of the same event.

The answer is that you can’t. You CANNOT have a pre-tribulation rapture, because the resurrection MUST happen at the same time as the rapture. And… there is only one of them for God’s people. And no, they are not separated by a period of 3 1/2 years or 7 years.

When reading the Bible for myself, I was always troubled by the fact that it clearly says that the Dead in Christ are caught up FIRST and then we which are living.... So, if the Resurrection happens at the End, so must the Rapture. Unless I don't understand English very well, it clearly says who will rise first. And it sure isn't the living believers on earth. See, what happens when you begin to read God's Word for yourself instead of having some pastor or Evangelist guide you along? You may just be able to make room for the Holy Spirit to lead you to truth.

Look at Luke 21:12-19, KJV

"12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls."

This scripture wasn't just for the early church but applicable, especially, to the End Time believers. They don't receive punishment from God but from the anti-Christ system. The purpose of the believer is to be a witness to the unsaved. That does not just end at some pre-tribulation Rapture. It is at this point I think of the 144,000. I imagine after the many catastrophes that will be taking place, the population of earth will decrease dramatically but we know there will be 144,000 believers that will be protected super-naturally to keep on preaching Jesus Christ and He crucified. Does this make some of you scoffers out there, perhaps, consider that the Church is made up of those that have the DNA of Israel within them? We don't know who we really are but God does.

People will say, "Use me Lord but....Please, please bring the Rapture before it gets rough. Are you really sincere in your prayer to God Almighty to be used or do your restrictions brand you as a coward? Well? Which are you? Do you really think He will use you? But, there is one that will use you.

Someone who can come to terms with the fact that the Dead in Christ rise first before the living, will yield to the Holy Spirit to continue to built the Inner strength to endure to the End.

A thought just entered my mind. If the Assembly of Believers do not need to be watchful for the Antichrist, as some teach, because they think they will be taken first, then pray tell, why does John tell us there will be many antichrist? Do you think it is because every generation was looking for the Return of Jesus Christ and every generation had it's anti-Christ? To know the enemy is to better defeat the enemy.

Read the Bible for yourself. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised how much you can learn if you let God's Holy Spirit teach you.
