The Feasts of the God are a guide to all important events concerning the Lord's first coming and second coming. We know that, at His First Coming, Jesus fulfilled all three of the Spring Feasts with the middle feast concerning Pentecost in the middle. This leaves us with the Fall Feasts. This is what I would like for us read and see how clearly God has shown exactly when all would be fulfilled.

In Ezekiel 43:1-9 we see that Ezekiel was led to the Eastern Gate in Jerusalem, where he sees the Lord return from the east. When He returns, He complains that by their building their door-post by His door-post with only a wall between them, they defiled His Holy Name. OK, we know that the Eastern Gate remains closed to this day and will not be opened by man. Only the Messiah will once again come through that gate.

I'll let you read the below scripture yourself to let God's Word prove that this is being told. Now, ask yourself when was all of this being shown to Ezekiel?

For that go back to Chapter 40, which I will include at the bottom of this scripture here and you will find out just when this happens. Notice that this date given occurs on the 10th day of the 1st month, which would be the Feast of Tabernacles. The first day would be Rosh HaShanah, the first of the last three feasts followed by Yom Kippur and the third feast of that final week being the Feast of Tabernacles. This I say to show that the Feast do matter and in fact, give you the very time that the Lord's Glory Himself returns. So, let us remember to keep God's Word and pay attention to His Feasts.

43 Then he led me to the gate, the gate facing east. 2 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory. 3 And the vision I saw was just like the vision that I had seen when he came to destroy the city, and just like the visiof Israel forever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoring and by the dead bodies of their kings at their high places, 8 by setting their threshold by my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with only a wall between me and them. They have defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed, so I have consumed them in my anger. 9 Now let them put away their whoring and the dead bodies of their kings far from me, and I will dwell in their midst forever.

Concerning the Eastern Gate remaining closed until He, the Messiah that once rode through it, returns again through that Eastern Gate, called The Golden Gate.

Jordan controlled the Eastern portion of Jerusalem. The King of Jordan had made a decision to open that Gate on some building project that would be a benefit to his country. But just as the work was about to begin, the Six Day War broke out, Israel not only won the war but gained control of the whole city of Jerusalem

And just as scripture has declared, that Gate will remain closed until Messiah comes.
