Thursday, June 19, 2014: Government leaders and elected officials are silent. The media is silent. Most importantly, the visible church remains silent, apathetic and impotent. Christians of all ages are being slaughtered, tortured, and imprisoned for their faith all over the world in record numbers, and that number is climbing every day. As Satan’s contempt for God’s children is demonstrated by the war against believers simply for being Christian, few react and no one acts to protect the children of God. The world carries on as normal. Yet, the sound of war is heard in the Heavens as well on earth, with the distress of nations as the earth is soon to witness the epic battle between good and evil.

Statistics show that the war against Christian believers is becoming more aggressive and more vicious. Christians are being mercilessly beheaded, crucified and shot in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon at the hands of Islamic terrorists supported by Western governments, including and especially the United States. The cloud of evil darkness is enveloping all nations, yet few are speaking up or speaking out.

Today, Christians face legal restrictions and open hostility in 111 countries, and such actions are rapidly encroaching in the United States. The number of Christians reportedly killed for their faith doubled between 2012 and 2013, and that number alone has more than doubled in Iraq and Syria alone so far this year. Those imprisoned for being Christian has reached an all time high, including some 70,000 Christians in prisons across North Korea alone.

Those who fail to speak out or act now will soon be unable to speak out at all.
