Hi all,

This is a very interesting study that brings up some important questions as well as offering some biblical answers. I am just adding my opinion on all this as it has been placed on my heart, and what I gleaned from reading this study.

Judging others when we are offended is wrong. Judging others when they offend the Truth and the doctrine of Christ is righteous. Telling the difference between ourselves and Christ is where the problem seems to lay. If we have truly given our lives to Christ, then He will let us know when to judge, and even give us the words to say. If we take offense because someone does not agree with us about how we interpret certain scriptures, then perhaps there is too much "self" involved in the judgments we make.

It is very telling when someone persists in supporting something they believe in at the expense of not rightly dividing the Word. When they use their own intellectual arguments, and put down the other person by adding other issues to the mix, and use their qualifications, education and certifications to boost their own credibility, this shows their argument to be one of self promotion and therefore of the flesh and not the Spirit.

If one is Holy Spirit filled, and the Lord is leading their life, He will let them know when to speak and what to say. And, this will be done with respect and humility because the person knows that they are nothing without Christ. This seems to be true spiritual discernment, when one considers what Christ wants in the situation, not there own needs for being right, or for receiving praise and acknowledgement.

That is just my take on it. I am so sorry for those who attack this site and Steven, they are showing their actual lack of spiritual discernment. And even worse, their total disregard for all the others they are leading astray with their false teaching.

May the Lord show them the error of their ways and open their hearts to the love of the truth.
