Just as there is a last day to the Jewish Year that ends on Eluh 29, there is a last day to the Shemitah that ends on Elul 29.
First, it is told that Shemitah means "Release, letting go" or a "Meltdown". It is read about in Leviticus 25:2
Leviticus 25:2-7
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye shall come into the land which I give you, the land shall
keep Sabbath unto the Lord.3
Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt cut thy vineyard, and gather the fruit thereof.4 But the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land: it shall be the Lord’s Sabbath: thou shalt neither sow thy field nor cut thy vineyard.
5 That which groweth of its
own accord of thy harvest, thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes that thou hast left 
unlabored: for it shall be a year of rest unto the land.6 And the
rest of the land shall be meat for you, even for thee and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for the stranger that sojourneth with thee:7 And for thy cattle, and for the beasts that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat. 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)
God makes it clear that the LAND must have it's rest every 7th year. Bottom line, Israel did not obey God concerning the LAND anymore than they did about anything else. They went their own way; seeking after the ways of the nations, the gods of the nations, wealth of the nations and power of the nations.
Jesus Christ prophesied that because the people did not obey God's Command nor even see the day of their visitation, their house and land would be taken from them. And so, it was in AD 70. From that time until 1948, the Land of Israel had laid, pretty well, fallow, enjoying her rest.
Jump forward to 2001, we all know remember what happened on Sept 11th. God removed His Hand of protection upon this nation that was once a Covenant Nation unto Him. Where did this horrible event hit? Right In the heart of the Financial World where it hurts the money changers the most; What we did not know at the time is that that day, Sept. 11, 2001 was a Shemitah. That was the end of that 7 year cycle and the year of releasing of debt. Never did the Money Changers forgive debt but piled the burden of debt so heavily upon the people that they lost their homes to the Bankers/Financiers. The nations, since that time, has lost private land which is now public land (but is it?)
The next event that hit the American Economy was in Oct. 2008, when once again, right upon the Jewish calendar of Elul 29, the very last day of the Jewish Year and again a Shemitah Year, the Stock Market dropped a staggering 777 points. America learned nothing after the 9/11 event, did not return to god but went whoring after the riches of the nations, made mammon it's god thus a second warning was given to this nation whom God had blessed so richly.
Now, consider when the next Shemitah will take place......Elul 2015. Is it something to really be afraid of if one hasn't turned their life over to Yahuah God? Will the first two shakings go unheeded? It appears that it will. It is also about the time just prior to the Last Blood Red Moon.
Just as the number 7 is a measurement used of God for the resting of the Land, it is the measurement that takes 7 x 7 to make the last 49th year that finishes off the 70th week of Daniel. The day after the Shemitah has taken place, which God will require all debt to be forgiven, then the Jubilee Year (50th year) begins. Meanwhile, He will demand the price from the nations and from Israel. A remnant will be saved but oh, the Wrath of the anti-Christ and finally Our Saviour's Wrath that will take place during this time.
It is clear from all the signs and evidence given through the servants of God, that we are winding down to that end right now. Ask yourself if God will spend another 7 years after 2015/16 to keep everything in it's positions to fulfill the final plan OR is the final paragraph being played out now?
I cannot do justice to all that Jonathan Kahn has shown here. It is amazing how he puts all the pieces together. He gives details of how on the 7th hour, on the 7th day, in the 7th week and even minutes, the Shemitah, required was taken. You won't want to miss taking a look at these videos posted on the site. It is an education of clarity of Our Heavenly Father's Calendar....everything right on time, down to the last second.
