Thanks Steven,

According to this map it happened right near Salmon...most likely the Mt. Borah area and was a 4.4..I know it was closer to Salmon this time because I felt it, and did not feel the one on Saturday, and it was stronger.

Thanks again Steven for this additional info.

I found out the local schools evacuated their students at today's quake. My landlord who is keeping tract of all this, and has been for weeks has a phone app that alerts him to all quakes. He showed me a print out from today that registered the quake as a 4.6, not 4.4 and this is from the USGS.

There have been about 20 quakes in the Challis area since March 24th, just as this article said. They have ranged in size from 2.5 to 4.9. The one today was only 35 miles from Salmon and 14 miles north of Challis...really close.

I also found out why I did not feel the 4.9 on Saturday. I had worked hard Saturday morning and was not feeling well so about 4pm I fell asleep and did not wakeup until 7pm, and the quake happened at 6:04pm. Everyone else around here felt it and said it was big.

Is something big about to happen? Whole lot of shaking going on!

Thanks for the personal up-date. I am praying for all of the Lord's people in the way of all that is coming down. I don't know if it is just me but I am having a "Heavy Foreboding, Sadness" come over me.

Yes Gerlinda,

I feel the same way, and have for several days now, as if a gloomy cloud of sadness has descended. Nice to know I am not alone in that. I think it reflects the signs of the time and the ominous events all happening at once.

Funny how we were each writing to the other at the same time. I appreciate you and all you contribute to this site, it provides much good information that helps us make sense of what is occurring.
