I couldn't even finish this before wanting to reply.

As the narrator of the video says, there are more things dividing the Catholic church and the Protestant churches than the issue of "faith alone."

Just some simple "rules" of governance are radically different. For instance, priests cannot marry, which encourages sexual immorality among some, although not all. Probably this Father Tony is a former Anglican priest who is allowed to keep his wife (as long as she lives, for he could not take another if he has joined the Catholic Church).

Divorce and remarriage is not allowed in the Catholic church except by a hypocritical process called "annulment." Annulment states that no marriage ever truly took place, for a variety of reasons. In a small number of cases, there truly WAS no marriage (can't get into it here, endlessly complex and byzantine). But many people have to fudge what happened in their marriages to get an annulment. For instance, they may be asked by a priest, were you sincere in taking the vows, or did you have mental reservations? Many Protestant churches allow remarriage if one party to the first marriage was adulterous. This will not be accepted by the Catholics. Some Protestant churches continue to agree with the Catholics that adultery is not sufficient for annulment. But by and large this system forces hypocrisy and outright lying. I have seen a lot of this, having been in the Catholic church myself, as well as in the Protestant.

I have to say that there are many Catholics who ARE born again in the sense we use that phrase. I have met them. I have met at least one, and probably two or three, priests who were born again. That's my opinion, of course, who am I to say who is born again? It is just something I discerned and which I believe is true.

I believe there could be no worse choice for this video with Father Tony than Kenneth Copeland's church, because his church is known to be a so-called "prosperity doctrine" and "name it and claim it" church. This is what I observed about it when I watched Copeland and his associates in that movement on Trinity Broadcasting. I no longer
watch Trinity, but it was a way in which my husband and I became familiar with Protestantism again when we got really interested in reading the Bible and thinking about what God would have us believe. Trinity was useful to us, then, even though we moved on. And one reason we moved on was TBN's sponsorship of churches like that of Copeland.
These church members are prime subjects ready to believe falsehoods, as they already have done so. That's in my opinion, of course. I am not speaking for the Lord. There undoubtedly are some sincerely born again people in Copeland's church, and perhaps he himself is also born again, although to my way of thinking he has some false doctrine, as false as that of the Catholic church.

Hard to find a church, isn't it, guys? In a sense, we do learn from various denominations, even if we don't accept them in whole. Thus, I believe we can learn a few things from Catholic priests if they are good ones, and some of them are good ones. Some of the nuns are great as well. Don't forget the women.
