I am so blessed by the videos you put on! It is the closest thing to attending an alive, Holy Spirit filled, church; real preaching of the Word, from the Word. A true blessing! I hope everyone will take the time to enjoy the real Gospel being presented here.

For me personally, I have been convicted to really take a look at the “commandments” and the Sabbath, as these are the points that I find difficult to agree with as presented in this video. Yet, because I respect these men and your understanding of this, I have come to a new conclusion upon further study.

The Ten Commandments were impossible for mankind to keep; they were to show us that without Christ we are dead in sin. Christ was the only one who kept all the commandments and therefore fulfilled them. These were the Father’s commandments, and no one comes to the Father except through Christ.

When one is born again and has Christ and His Spirit, they are now able to keep the commandments of God through the perfection of his Son. Jesus restates all but one of the Ten Commandments in His commandments under the New Covenant, but now they are also spiritual in nature…not just material. We are now able to keep both through Christ.

The only commandment not restated by Jesus was about the Sabbath and the reason is that He is the Sabbath for all born again Christians. The word “Sabbath” means rest, not Saturday. We are to rest in Him so that we can keep the commandments of God, not just rest on one day of the week. Jesus never stated we were to keep the Sabbath in all the New Testament…He is Lord of our rest.

So, I am beginning to see the importance of keeping the Ten Commandments, but still cannot agree on the Saturday thing. Maybe you have some other videos or studies that speak exclusively of this issue and can prove, biblically, that Jesus instructed His people to worship on Saturday.

I am so happy that you enjoyed hearing this word, and at least seeking to understand. I am blessed to hear about your conviction, as I dealt with the same thing, and not too long ago. May He shower you with His blessing of understanding. We know ultimately it IS His job, right? And He will! For those that diligently seek Him.

Again, I must first reiterate and clarify, that I do NOT seek justification for my sins by obeying His commandments. My justification is in CHRIST BLOOD SACRIFICE ALONE!

I obey His commandments because I love Him...it is my faith in action. For, there is no greater admonishment than: 1 John 2:4-6

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."

Surely, the Most High did not walk in a way that is impossible for me to emulate...and I speak for myself only...after setting the example for His prophets, apostles, and all those that followed Him, and are called by His name. For He IS the great Teacher, the one I trust above and beyond anything man in His infinite wisdom, can misunderstand, misconstrue, add to or take away from His inerrant word. We are safe with Him, for there is...

No Greater Assurance Than: John 14:21

"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

No better confirmation than: Rev 12:17

"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Concerning Sabbath

Ex 31:13
"Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Ex 31:16
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

This directive by the Most High applies to Israel and those adopted into His family...Gentiles. Isa 56, Isa 58:13

There is specific instructions as to how we are to adhere to it, that it be not defiled. So that alone, suggest it is...a day.

Ex 20:8-10

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:"

MANY are awakening to this truth and ARE doing it, and it is not burdensome.

Patti, I know He will make it clear to you one way or another, because He is faithful. I am adding a couple of videos that you may find to be helpful, if so, let us praise His name.
