To all TRUTH lovers,

I will not point fingers in a public display of self gratitude, but felt compelled by the spirit to witness to a very important belief I have about this subject! I have been chomping at the bit to respond but have not known where to start. This morning, the Lord put it upon my heart to respond. I opened my bible to Matthew 28 and I now will share with you what the Lord has put upon my heart to say. I want to share with you what the Lord has shown me. Lets start at Matthew 28 of the KJV right from the very first word of verse 1......

In the end of the Sabbath,

Stop right here! The very first 6 words of Matthew, starts with the word IN!

Webster's Dictionary....in (in) prep. within; inside of; indicating a present relation to time, space, or condition; adv. inside; closely; with privilege or possession; immediately.

So, proper interpretation is:


(within; inside of)....the end of the Sabbath,

within WHAT?

(the end) of the Sabbath,

So proper interpretation is:

within the end of the Sabbath,

So! We are "within" the "end" of the Sabbath! WHAT Sabbath is the bible talking about?

It has to be the seventh day Sabbath, the weekly Sabbath day, as the next few words of Matthew tells us....as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,

So!

It is right there in the first verse of Matthew,

as it began to (dawn) toward the first day of the week,

dawn (dawn) v.i. to grow towards daylight; to begin to be visible;

SO! Proper interpretation would be:

Within the end of the Sabbath, as it began to grow towards daylight of the first day of the week,

SO! Proper interpretation tells us that:

WE are still within the end of the seventh day Sabbath, which is SATURDAY because SUNDAY is the first day of the week, and it began to grow "TOWARDS"
daylight of the first day of the week!

THEN........came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.

CLEARLY, It was STILL within SATURDAY, at the end of the Sabbath day "SATURDAY", as it began to grow light "TOWARDS" the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.

So! The first part of the verse is a prepositional phrase:

In the end of the Sabbath,

This tells us WHEN the verse is talking about, which is the DAY of the week that Matthew is pointing out!

"AS" it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,

This is another prepositional phrase, further explaining the time frame of the main subject matter of the verse:

came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.

Lets continue to verse 2.......

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

Jesus had ALREADY risen and gone from the grave before they ever looked inside, as the next verses clearly state......

verse 3.......

His countenance was like lightening, and his raiment white as snow:

verse 4.......

And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

verse 5.......

And the angel answered and said to the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

verse 6.......

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus was already gone BEFORE the angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled back the stone to Jesus sepulcher, where he laid!

This subject needs to be thoroughly studied by all as Jesus pointed out that this would be the ONLY sign given to our generation of the end. If you truly believe that we are living in that time of great tribulation, right before God stops the bloodshed of wickedness in time to save his elect, then you need to study this sign given by Christ about his resurrection, because it is obvious, once one does, that God has chosen his Sabbath day as his mark of who is his! And I believe that this is going to be the catalyst that will cause the persecution of the saints by satan. He wants your worship on HIS day, SUN...DAY, or BAAL day, and there is a clear choice that needs to be digested with all diligence and heart felt pray for the TRUTH, as I feel strongly that this is the MAJOR deception that causes all of the other perversions to fall into line for false worship, made in VAIN, by people with good intentions, but have been led down the WRONG path!

I say this because I feel that it is what the Lord has shown me to be true, and to withhold it would be a foolish thing, indeed! I refuse to be quiet!

This study gets even deeper as one learns more of the scriptures. It might seem to be contradictory of other scriptures, but I assure you, it is not!

PLEASE KEEP ALL REPLIES FOCUSSED ON THE BOOK OF MATTHEW FOR THIS STUDY IS ONLY ABOUT HIS GOSPEL. We will move to other scriptures for dissection about this same subject matter, AFTER we complete the gospel according to Matthew!
This way, the matter can be cleared up, one author at a time, and then, the whole picture can be summarized.

Dear Michael,

Let me first say that I admire your conviction and passion on this subject. I also like how you are conducting your study...line upon line and from all the Gospels.

I just have a couple questions that I hope you will be able to clear up for me.

Were the Jews at that time reckoning days from sunset to sunset? If they were, would not the Sabbath have ended at sunset on Saturday and not dawn on Sunday?

And, Jesus was to fulfill the Feast of First Fruits, would that not mean He would rise on that very day(Sunday) when the priests were making the grain offering?

These are the things that bother me about this issue, and knowing you have studied this all so diligently, I hope you can help me understand.
