You are so right Linda...Israel, Spiritual Israel, is the apple of God's eye...as they are the born again believers that believed without seeing and now worship in Spirit and in Truth.

Natural Israel will only become the apple of God's eye when they too are born again and accept Jesus as their Savior, which Spiritual Israel has already done.

There are so many good studies on this site about this, I pray you look into them. The New Testament is concealed in the Old, and the Old Testament is revealed in the New...both are crucial to a whole understanding of the Bible. I am definitely a Whole Book kind of person and I know that my studies bear witness to the fact that use both in most of my studies. I agree that we need to make sure we know the Whole as opposed to one side or the other.

I guess this is where we agree to disagree, and that is fine, as what you say needs to be heard and both sides clearly represented so these discussions can carry on and hopefully "iron will sharpen iron". What is noticeable is that we both are passionate in our love for our Lord and Savior, and that is what really counts.
