Greetings Steven and Readers,
What a testimony of How Great our God is that He could take one of the strongest Pagan holidays, not only rooted in Rome, but Babylon, Egypt, and Assyria.....and made is a Christian Holiday, a symbol of Hope, Love, and Faith. The enemy continues to attack it though with traditions of men like Santa and rein deers or Christmas trees. We as Christians are wise though and don't succumb to those wiles. The Lord made this His Holiday over 1700 years ago showing there is only One True God. My prayer is we as Christians aren't tricked by the Illuminati with disinformation (even if the facts are true) to destroy this great opportunity to be fishers of men.

Interesting take on things...

My take is I worship and celebrate JESUS birth everyday and share the GOSPEL everyday.

I worship HIM everyday....I could care less about pagan holidays or man made holidays.

I post the information for edification, exhortation, and encouragement.

What you do with the information is between you and God. (Jesus)

Do you honestly believe that Our Great Heavenly Father took these holidays and made them into Christian holiday???? It is the other way around...God's Ways came first and the enemy of our souls who has created these pagan holidays to draw worship for himself and his Fallen Angels who think they are gods.

Steven has posted article after article giving the origins of these pagan holidays and scriptures plus more scriptures that show it is God's Holy Word that guides us to Salvation through Faith in Christ Jesus. As His children we are to live our lives having love for our fellow man by putting into action the hope that is in us, all the time. not just some feely good holiday.

Please Charles, take the time and look at some of these wonderful resources that are posted here; multitudes of them. None of us are so far advanced in our learning that we can't learn more truth from the Word of God.

I've been an enthusiastic reader of God's Word for more years than I care to admit and yet, I can always learn something here.

Give it a try, Charles, you'll like it.

Where is this in the bible?

God says,

"I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.

23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols." Amos 5:21-23

We are not of this world brothers and sisters.
