Galatians and other NT scriptures speaks about keeping the LAW, of which there are 613. That is an impossibility to do and God knew this but put this upon the people in order to show them their need of a Saviour.

However, The Ten Commandments, we are clearly told we must keep. The Sabbath is #4. Notice how the first four applied to man's relationship to God and how the other six apply to man's relationship to each other?

That was never rescinded, never. But, there were those that did just that; the early church of Rome, when Constantine, the ruler at the time, incorporated some early church teaching with paganism, called it the Holy Roman Church and was able to incorporate all of the belief systems into one.. It is then, Sunday became the day set aside for the worship of their god.....the Sun god on Sunday. This should be already understood by most serious Christians.

Sure, there were those that qualify that change by saying Jesus Christ arose on the 1st day of the week so doesn't it just make perfect sense to change God's Word of keeping the 7th day into the 1st day of the week? But what did Our Heavenly Father say about His Sabbath, the Day of Rest given to Man? He didn't change his mind, man decided to change it thus we have more traditions of man.

The problem here is that most do not distinguish the difference between the Laws (all 613 of which were bondage) and the Commandments. If one does not keep the 4rd commandment, then why even bother with the other nine?

Whether one goes to church or temple, for whatever reason one does or doesn't, it is his choice but to change God's Sabbath to a Sunday has not been given to man to change.....not back in the days of the creation of the Universal Church of Rome, passed on to her Protestant daughters NOR there-after.

One more thing I would like to add here. We hear so often that this is a Covenant between God and Israel and has nothing to do with the Gentile. Yet, when that Gentile becomes a believer in Yeshua haMashiach, he is quick to say that he is "Spiritual Israel". Aaahaa! Do you see what a contradiction of facts have now been created?

Read Isa 56 "Salvation for the Gentiles", for more understanding...for it is clear. We have ALL been deceived, and more than you know or are willing to receive. Thank you Michael for your obedience to bring to light what has been shrouded in darkness. Christ is truly awakening all who will receive His word in truth. He is also shaking the foundation of our lives, testing what it is built upon.

Gerlinda, thanks for your input, I agree the commandments should be kept as in (should not be changed), but how then would you address Gal 4:8-11 and Col 2:6-17 which speaks directly about observing certain days? Also, if the catholic church never changed Sabbath day to Sunday, would simply worshiping on the Sabbath satisfy God's commandment because He gave specific instructions about the Sabbath which I wonder if anybody really keeps?
