Warren, you said, "A TARE TEACHES THINGS CONTRARY TO THE BIBLE". TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN !







According to that true statement anyone who teaches a rapture position CONTRADICTORY TO WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES is a tare. I totally agree !




There is ONLY ONE TRUE RAPTURE POSITION taught in the Scriptures, and if one does NOT believe it and teaches another DOCTRINE OTHER THAN OF CHRIST they are a tare.




That is why one's rapture position IS A SALVATION ISSUE according to the following Scriptures :




Matthew 7:21-22

"Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven....MANY will say to Me in that Day, Lord, Lord,......and I will declare to them, I never knew you depart from Me"




Notice the word "MANY" who are saying, "Lord, Lord".




1 Corinthians 10:12

"Let him WHO THINKS HE STANDS take heed lest he fall."











According to Your Infallible Word, come Lord Jesus !

Then some here could be tares, as for me I haven't given my rapture position let alone teach it.
And I don't agree with your statement. Someone giving their understanding of the rapture from their studies is not going against the doctrine of Christ, if they are wrong, it is their understanding right or wrong. God dosn't condemm us because we don't know the Bible perfectly. Saved Christians teach all different positions of the rapture because that's what they believe from their studies, those who are wrong, they are just wrong in their understanding. All will know when changed in the twinkling of an eye (and then you will know as you are also known 1 cor 13)we know little til then. Doesn't the Word of God clearly teach us how it is that we are saved? One must be Born-Again.. It is NOT about having the correct teaching on the Rapture. Believing in the wrong rapture timing will cause many to not be prepared for the days that come upon the earth that are like they've never been before. In fact, a pastor I met today didn't even believe in the Rapture nor the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and believes that Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came down, was His Second Coming. Now his theology is way off, in our understanding but if he is, as he says, truly Born-Again, then he is saved. That is according to the Word of God, no matter what kind of restrictions we may want to put upon that simple understanding of the Divine Gift of the shed blood of Yeshua HaMashiach who finished it at the cross. Paul also responded to those that were teaching they had to be circumcised that he would not put anything else upon them; meaning that it was the Sacrifice on the Cross that is to be preached, no more, no less. THE TEN VIRGINS ARE ALL BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS BUT FIVE DON'T MAKE IT...........







According to the math in the parable of the ten virgins HALF of the (virgins) Christians WHO THINK THEY ARE GOING TO HEAVEN WON'T MAKE IT !







In addition to being born-again one must ALSO "keep the word of My patience" :




Revelation 3:10 (KJV)

"BECAUSE you have KEPT THE WORD of my patience, I also will KEEP YOU from the hour of temptation......"




Matthew 4:4

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but BY EVERY WORD that proceeds from the MOUTH OF GOD."







Now because we are living under the covenant of grace we have forgiveness IF WE ASK FOR IT. Forgiveness of our sins is given freely IF WE ASK FOR IT IN PRAYER.




The sure-fire way to make it to heaven is to pray the Lord's Prayer EVERYDAY ! Apparently five of the virgins didn't.
