No, the rapture doesn't happen until the coming of the Lord, as Paul plainly, simply and clearly teaches. So looking at the Revelation, when do we see Jesus coming? It's at chapter 19 isn't it? The people dwelling in the heavens are the elect who have been there since the first advent, and who will return with Christ at His coming, while we who are alive and remaining will meet them in the air as they come. Simple.



"Did not appoint us to wrath" is not in any way, shape or form the same as "will remove us bodily out of the world" this is a HUGE leap in "logic" that Bruce is making, one which is not biblically derived in any way. Look at the exodus, the 10th plague. None of them who put the blood of the lamb on their doorways were appointed wrath. Neither did any of them vanish out of the earth. This has NEVER BEFORE HAPPENED in all of scripture there has never been one, single believer who suddenly disappeared in order to avoid danger. NEVER ONCE.

Yet somehow many of you are in some strange way concluding that "not appointed wrath" is the equivalent of "disappears from the earth", a notion and teaching entirely absent from the Word of God. So how did Israel escape THE DESTROYER?

Ex 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the DESTROYER to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Anyone suddenly and inexplicabley disappearing here to avoid the destroyer? No?

Jer 4:7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the DESTROYER of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

Here he is again; here comes the destroyer. Anyone suddenly, inexplicabley disappearing out the earth? No?

1Co 10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

There he is again. Anyone disappearing out of the wilderness? No?

Re 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

There he comes at the last, again. The DESTROYER- Abaddon/Apollyon. Anyone disappearing out of the world to avoid him? If you say "YES!" my only real question is: what on earth has possibly got you to believe that what is 100% consistently taught, tried, and true in the bible (NO ONE EVER disappears to avoid ANYTHING) is not what to expect; why are you poissbly under the impression that this time, though it's never been in the history of the Word of God; this time it will be different, and people will disappear?

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Does Paul teach "do not worry, you will magically disappear before the evil day; no precutions necessary you won't even be here..." oh no, he didn't did he? he said "suit up and prepare for battle" didn't he?



People need to be careful with talk like this, they may just find they're accursing themselves through their own judgment. Best just discuss and leave the accursing to the Lord.
