Papua New Guinea Earthquake Today 2013 Strikes Kimbe
Officials tell news that a 5.3 magnitude Papua New Guinea earthquake today began just after 12:30 am local time (on November 27, 2013). The quake had a moderate depth. USGS indicates to news that the quake started on-land and forty-seven miles below ground level. As a result the quake could be felt across the region.

North Texas has another earthquake, 3.3 magnitude
North Texas has had another earthquake in an area that's now recorded five quakes in the past week. The U.S. Geological Survey says the 3.3 magnitude earthquake happened at 1:43 a.m. CST Monday and was centered about 4 miles west of Azle (AY'-zil).
