This scripture reading is another example of the fact that The Kingdom of God is come with power.....not going to come but is come. Notice Jesus said that there would be some right there with him at the time that they stood at the Mt. of Transfiguration, that would not taste death until they saw it. Obviously Peter, James and John did see death BUT true to His Word, they were allowed to see that the Power of the Kingdom of God was with them already. Just because God is allowing Satan and his minions to have a certain amount of power does not negate the fact that earth, along with all of the above and below earth. is the Kingdom of God in His power. God is giving Satan a certain amount of rope until he is thrown into the Lake of Fire. Through-out the Bible, He has done this.....using the enemy to destroy the enemy itself. Jesus Christ is the Anointed and Jesus Christ is coming in the Great Wrath of God.
