Strange to hear people disregard and try to change the principles, and precepts, and times of Daniel 9, as it is probably our basic and fundamental prophecy knowledge, upon which we can establish all the scenario of events and times on. Its a CLASSIC, a TRUTH, a FOUNDATION and EXACT. So lets get it exactly right and know its veracity in heart, soul and mind.

Daniel 9 the 'Last 7 Years'


As the Lord himself said, “Whosoever readeth, let him understand” what Daniel the prophet said about the LAST Days. (Mathew 24: 15 …..). In other words, if we want to know what the Lord will be doing in the ENDTIME, we have to study and learn what His prophet Daniel said about the 'LAST SEVEN YEARS'.

This basic outline is all wrapped up in a few verses in Daniel Chapter Nine. So if you open up your Bibles, and hopefully they will be King James Version Bibles if you are to truly be able to cross reference what is said in the spirit to the rest of the Bible. Anyway, go to Chapter 9, verse 24. I’ll write down the exact verse as we go along and put my comments in parenthesis. But this is shown graphically on the Messianic Timeline

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophesy, and to anoint the most Holy.

So no matter how you look at it, for all these things to be accomplished it definitely has to be the End of things as we know it and the Lord of Lords has to have returned to straighten things out. Why because we certainly don’t have an end of sin and iniquity in the world today, and we certainly don’t have everlasting righteous reigning in today’s courts nor institutions. Besides, without the Lord’s 2nd return, how can there be peace on earth without the Prince of Peace who will bring in everlasting righteousness. So until He gets anointed as the Rightful Heir and Rightful Ruler of this wicked world, His prophecies through ALL of his prophets have not been fulfilled nor His vision completed.

Therefore as this beautiful mathematical prophecy states there will be seventy (70) weeks determined upon us, his people (spiritual Israel) and upon his holy city, (the City of David…Jerusalem), before it gets cleansed.

25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the prince shall be seven (7) weeks, and three score (3 times 20 = 60) and two weeks. (Making a grand total of 7 + 60 + 2 = 69 weeks).

O.K. We’re going up until the Messiah, or the promised Savior for He was prophesied about from the very beginning by all including Adam and all his descendants, for He was called 'The Son of Man', our Redeemer because He was the Promised One to come that would save us from our original sins. So who was this Messiah and when did he come?

Well, as Daniel is told, the 70 weeks start ‘from the going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem’. Yet Daniel is speaking in about 534 B.C. at a time when the Lord’s people have been scattered and many of them taken into CAPTIVITY to Babylon, as was the case with Daniel himself. The Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem had been destroyed by the conquering army of Nebacanezar, the King of Babylon in 586 B.C., and the whole Temple Mount area in Jerusalem was in shambles. And it was to stay that way, all the way up until the time of Artaxerses King of the Medes, because His father Darius the Mede had defeated Beltezazar the son of Nebancanezar. For it took until 454. B.C. before Artaxerxes yielded to the request of Nehemiah asking the king to allow him and others to return and rebuild the city of their father’s selpuchre and their temple, back in Judah. (Nehemiah 2:5).

So according to Daniel, this first period of time from the going forth of this commandment to rebuild would take seven (7) weeks, until the street shalt be built again and the wall, even in troublous times. Why did it take so long, simply because while Nehemiah and his men were building the wall and city, they were also having to fight off attacks from those that didn?t want them to finish the completion of the Lord's wall.. (Nehemiah 4; 7,8). Yet they accomplished their task in 405 B.C, 49 years after beginning. So let's see, if 7 weeks equaled 49 years, mathematically that would mean that one week in Daniel's prophecy would be equal to 7 years.

But let's check, it to make sure. and lo and behold the original Hebrew word used here in the Old Testament was 'Shebua'. And the meaning of Shebua is seven. So just as the Lord created everything in seven days or what we call a week even today, this word 'Shebua' meant seven. And if you take seven shuba's that would make 7 x 7 or 49 years.

Great, so we have a match, and all is perfectly matching both history, language and mathematics, as the Lord fulfilled his never-failing Word. .So now let's take the second time period, which Daniel says takes three score and two weeks until the Messiah Shall be cut off.. That's 62 weeks or 62 x 7 equals 434 years from the finishing of the wall in Jerusalem. So we add 432 years onto 405 B.C. but because the time line Before Christ went downward towards zero and then onward positively as the years of A.D. passed, we subtract 434 from 405 meaning we have a difference of 29. But hold everything, there was no year 0, whether B.C. or A.D. so let's add one more year to our positive number of 29 making our projected cut off date for the Messiah to be 30 A.D.

All right, all you historians, do you know of any great men that died in 30 A.D any great religious leaders that died at that time ?..That’s right Jesus Christ, the real King of the Jews for as Josephius the historian said and as the authors of the Gospels wrote about, this Jesus was cut off and crucified in the Year 30. A.D. So let's look again at what Daniel said in verse 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, BUT NOT FOR HIMSELF.

So who did He did for, that’s right?He died for our sins and not for any sins of his own, for He was the only perfect man to have lived here on earth. Amazing and it’s all right here in Daniel proven by a mathematical prophecy that absolutely proves that the Jews Messiah has already come, the Savior for all people had to be cut off in 30 A.D. And He was. There is no other, and there will be no other Earthly Messiah coming again to the Earth, even though the evil Anti-Christ will claim to be such. Jesus already came and already died for us. So now you know and now you can prove it through scriptures and through mathematics and a simple timeline.

O.K. but Daniel goes on in verse

26b ‘And the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary: and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined’

And this is actually what happened because the people of the Prince (of the air, the Devil - Ephesians 2: 2) did come to Jerusalem and did destroy the city under the leadership of the Roman General Titus, in 70 A.D, just 40 years after Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection. But the war was not over way back in 70 A.D. as Titus and his army were just people of the Prince of the darkness of this world. This war continues on as described by all the prophets, til today and will only be culminated by the coming of the Lord and then His and our return to Earth to annihilate the Anti-Christ forces once and for all at the Battle of Armageddon. Until that time ‘desolations, wars, famines and plaques are determined and shall come’ (Mathew 24 : 5-8).

And NOW, the last Seven Years verse. Why because we are missing one week, we have accounted for 69 weeks, up until the Messiah was cut off, and obviously there is a Gap and break in time because everlasting righteousness, obviously didn’t start in 37 A.D.I mean, 7 years after the resurrection of the Lord, He did not return and fulfill all prophecies as the great majority of them are yet to be fulfilled. So verse 27, will tell us when this LAST SEVEN YEARS will begin

27 And he (the Anti-Christ or the Prince of the Covenant) shall confirm the Covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate even until the consumation and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

So to help in understanding this most important and most fundamental scripture in all PROPHECY for the ENDTIME, let’s break it down into smaller more understandable sections. The anti-christ forces of all the world join together (with the Lord’s permission to fulfill His Will) by signing a Peace Covenant between the Mid-East parties, so that a New temple can be built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This covenant is sometimes called the ‘holy covenant’ throughout Daniel 11, because it deals with a peace agreement between the Muslims and the Jews and a way for all three major religions to share their common sacred area the ‘Temple Mount’ (See Daniel 11). And according to both Daniel and John in Revelations, there are going to be ten toes or ten kings that sign this peace covenant. ( Daniel 2: 42 ..7:24 & Revelations 17: 2)

Then the prophet Daniel says, that in the midst of the week, that would be after 3 and a half years because we have already figured out that one week equals 7 years, then after 3 and a half years, 'he (the Anti-Christ) shall cause the sacrifice and oblation (in the soon to be built Jewish temple (See Dan 8:13,14 class) to cease'. In other words, because the Anti-Christ , or Beast, wants the world to believe He is the Christ ‘and sitteth in the Temple of God’, shewing himself that he is God' (2 Thessalonians 2: 4)., then he will want All people to worship Him rather than to sacrifice to the Jewish God, or the Christian God or the Muslim God for all must worship Him or die.

And when it says, ‘for the overspreading of abominations he (the A.C. ) shall make it desolate’ basically means that anything and every abominable thing he does will be geared for separating us from the true Lord, for whether this is referring to his worldwide economic and MARK system or an interactive voice COMPUTER system so that All will be forced into compliance to His words, they all will make those on Earth desolate. And this desolation will continue all they way up until the CONSUMMATION , better known as the Battle of Armageddon where the Lord and His saints take true vengeance on the A.C. and His followers. (Revelations 19).

So this all takes 3 and a half years according to our earlier calculations, and if we compare this time which Jesus called ‘The Tribulation’ (Mathew 24 : 15 ) all the way up until His coming (Mathew 24: 21-30), with scriptures in Revelations.. And lo and behold the same figure comes up. For in Revelations 12: 6, & 14 it says we shall flee into the wilderness for 42 months or 1260 days which is of course 3 and a half years, so we have compliance which again means we were right concerning our mathematics in the whole chapter of Daniel 9. Why do scriptures back themselves up, because they were written by the Lord and he just used men to write them down. Consequently seeing they came from His hand, they agree with one another and we can have absolute faith in them. (2 Tim 3: 16).

But as Daniel concludes ‘and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate’ Because those that have chosen the Anti-Christ and His MARK and have chosen to worship Him and their materialism (Revelations 13 & 17) will have to endure Tribulation or the second half of the LAST 7 YEARS. They will have to survive both the 7 trumpets of Revelations 8 & 9, but also the 7 vials of the WRATH of God described in Revelations 16. For whosoever doesn’t fall humbly upon the ROCK called Jesus shall have the ROCK fall upon them. (Daniel 2: 34)

So choose Jesus today (See Salvation class) and survive by the Love and Grace of the Lord through the ‘LAST SEVEN YEARS’ and onto into Eternity forever.

Daniel 9 is much more than mere prophecy of the future, it shows the exact timing of Jesus death, to absolutely prove to anyone who can do a little math and understands a little history, that JESUS is in fact the MESSIAH. It is a Messianic prophecy that shows Jesus was the Messiah and was cut off for our sins. This extending after the gap to finnish off with HIS ANNOINTING and starting rule in the MILLENIUM.

It is a super important prophecy to base your faith on. Yes, you should know that Jesus fulfilled all Messianic prophecies so you can convince Gentiles and Jews alike that Jesus was the CHOSEN ONE, and that any can choose HIM as their Messiah. Daniel 9 is a great great witnessing chapter and proof of Jesus' DIVINITY and DIVINE BIRTH and DEATH.
It is not conjecture, but mathematical proof from true history that JESUS was the CHRIST.

Messiah's Time Prophecy

The book of Daniel was written by the faithful prophet of the Lord, in about 538 B.C.,and he correctly and very specificly prophesied the next kingoms after Babylon, the kingdom in which he was captive. For it was followed in succession by Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, to be followed by the Seventh World Kingdom ... this begins in our time, when ten nations sign the Mid-East Peace, Religious and Political Covenant.
O.K, but did you know that Daniel also mathematically told via the Lord's Spirit the exact date when the Messiah would die ? For with this information, no one whether a Jew or gentile of whatever religion could pretend that the messiah is yet to come, because it was prophesied already that he would come in Jesus' time and die when Jesus died. So who's was the messiah that died after 7 weeks and 62 weeks as stated in Daniel 9 ? ..... JESUS. And if you still don;t believe, consider all the other the Messianic Prophecies, He also fulfilled. So if interested study Daniel's perfect mathematical Timeline of of the End Time....but if you don;t realize that the Messiah was Jesus, let's go over the specifics of Daniel 9 .

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.(From this, the start of the timeline of the 70 weeks is from the time, the Jews were allowed to go and rebuild their Temple by the Medo=Persians, after it was destroyed by the Babylonians back in 586 B.C. The time of this order to allow the Jews to return and build was in 454 B.C. by Arthexertses. But as said, this was to last only seven weeks until it was accomplished by Nehemaih and others.in 405 B.C. And seeing this time period was called seven weeks and it took 49 years, then obviously a week was equal to 7 years. For even in Hebrew, the word week is Shebuah, and means 7 years.

Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof[shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. (Aha... now it says after 62 more weeks after 405 B.C. the Messiah would be cut off. So do the math and 62 times 7 years brings us to 30.A.D. when the Messiah was to be cut off ? Right ? Right !)

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (And here's the Missing Week, the Last Seven years which starts with the Mid-East Ciovenant that settles the Palestinian - Jewish conflict..... SEE Daniel Timeline of the Last 7 years which comes from all of Daniel and correlated with John the revelators words from the Messiah concerning His Second Coming)

But let's go back to Daniel 9:26, in case you didn;t know who the Messiah had to be or is. So with this exact timeline of consecutive weeks converted into years until the Messiah was cut off, which person in world history died not for himself but for others ? Who gave his life a ransom for all ? Remember it did NOT say, the Messiah would bring His kingdom into being at 30 A.D. or bring about world peace in 30 A.D. but that the Messiah would die at 30. A.D.

Come on you know the answer, as there was only world religious leader that was going to die for the sins of the world and only one that said that he was that Messiah, and only one that fulfilled the more than 90 other Messianic Prophecies written by the previous prophets, and His Name was JESUS CHRIST, the Son of God, There is no other !!

And so if only by numbers, it can be proven that Jesus was the Messiah, for he was born in about 4.B.C. in Bethlehem by a virgin named Mary, and started his public ministry at about 30 years of age and continued on for three years so that at the age of 33, he died on the cross, as the Lamb of God .... for the sins of the whole world in 30.A.D.

So no one should be looking to the future for an earthly Messiah again for he already came in the flesh and in meekness and was rejected,!! Yet the next time He comes it will be in strength at the Consummation (Daniel 9: 27 ). For then we shall all see ' the sign of the Son of man coming in the clouds with Power and great Glory. (Mathew 24)

Recieve the Messiah today before it is too late .... for today is the day of Salvation

Here is one other view that can be considered as well. ( I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH YOUR CONTENTION THAT 7 YEARS REMAIN )

NO Seven Year tribulation.

That the Last Seven Year tribulation was already accomplished.

Take a complete view of this video and see if maybe this has a reasonable explanation that the Last SEVEN years has already been completed?

JESUS baptism was the beginning of the LAST SEVEN years

Jesus baptism - Year #483 of the 490 year spoken of by Daniel the prophet.

Jesus - was crucified after his covenant with many ( 487th 1/2 year )

and also consider that AFTER this the disciples did not evangelize until AFTER Stephen was stoned to death completing the 490th.

SEVEN YEAR MINISTRY begun by JESUS then the disciples began evangelizing the WHOLE WORLD.

JESUS BAPTIZED 483 YEAR

JESUS CRUCIFIED 487 1/2 YEAR

STEPHEN STONED TO DEATH END OF
"FIRST TO THE JEWS THEN TO THE GENTILES" MINISTRY. 490TH YEAR.

Exactness of Daniel 9 Timeline - ONE REALLY BIG QUESTION ?

You state, "....we shall flee into the wilderness for 42 months.." My really big question to you is who is "we" ? I think you are implying that "we" is the Church. I also think that you imply that you believe in the post-tribulation rapture position Is that correct ?

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 7-YEAR COVENANT.........





Jesus was in the middle of a 7-year confirming of a much longer covenant of God's grace when He was cut-off and crucified in the middle of the 70th Week of Daniel.



Had the House of Israel anointed Him as their Most Holy we Gentiles would not now be grafted in.



So don't be watching for the false notion of a 7-year peace treaty with the anti-Christ with Israel. It ain't gonna happen because it isn't Scriptural. It is an invention of men.



Scripture says two things have to happen before the rapture :



#1 The falling away from the gospel which is well under away



#2 The anti-Christ is revealed in Israel to the watching Church. The rapture soon follows the revealing of the anti-Christ.

So let me rationally, answer your question, you got from somewhere... even though not directly related to this specific topic of Daniel 9

WE is of course, Christians that get sealed for the Tribulation and who fight and defend our encampment against the AC. WE, is us Christians and those of any religion that become Christians and are sealed by the Lord. The Lord seals and not us, these are the 144,000. But first you must understand Daniel 9.

Yes we have to battle the AC, Yes we are not escapists, Yes the Lord expects those with faith to do with part?

What part of this do you not understand. Go back and study the exactness of Daniel 9.

But to help you, allow me to post the following ?

As obviously, blatantly we absiolutely know that Jesus has not been annointed the HOLY ONE as mentioned in Daniel 9 as the end of the time line.

I repeat Jesus has not been anointed for the Millenium, Read agin Daniel 9, everlasting righteousness has not arrived HERE on Earth, the prophecies have not been asll fulfilled until Jesus is annointed...

Differ greatly Steven... as we are hardly into the everlasting righteousness stage..... and obviously the trumpets have not sounded and the vials poured out. Neither has the covenant been signed nor sacrifing started and stopped by the AC, neither has the vision and prophecy been fulfilled to completion, neither has JESUS been anointed...the MOST HOLY ONE as mentioned in Daniel 9.

Jesus was cut off was the end of the 69th week, straight forward and simple, perfect exact math. PROOF OF JESUS' DIVINITY.

One week left, seven years left, starting with the Covenant signing. SEE Covenant ARTICLE HEREIN

In trying to figure out the possible dating of Daniel's Time Lines, I must have made a mistake because I didn't take into account that Daniel specifically stated that the end point of the LAST SEVEN YEARS was when the Lord brings 'in everlasting righteousness, and seals up the vision and prophesy, and the Mosy High One is anointed'. I assumed this would have been at the Great Consummation of the 7th Vial, also known as the Battle of Armegeddon, when the Lord returns and takes back his kingdom. But this is premature, as the Battle scenes have to be cleaned up, and the Lord must have a GRAND OPENING of His Temple, HERE on EARTH...... for only afterwards in a few months can HE (Jesus) be annointed, as the Millenial RULER OF HIS EARTH, for 'HE IS THE HOLY ONE and KING OF KINGS. Until then the vision and prophesy will not be sealed up and finnished, Jesus must be anointed properly in the proper place and time.
All the other dates and years and correspondances of all timelines seem to be correct and unchanged concerning their parameters of start and endings or fulfillments. So let me leave them as they were, yet allow me to say I made this mistake of the LAST SEVEN YEARS, .and lets see what happens in the near future with the Covenant Signing and Start of Sacrificing. Today being the FALL of 2013.
For as I have always said, we have to get the starting dates exactly right. The START of the LAST SEVEN YEARS, when all the world will be aware of the exact date the COVENANT is signed. And then later, the Covenant giving the security to allow the START OF SACRIFING beginning.. These BOTH being highly known, public events that we can use ts establish absolutely all our time lines., so they coincide exactly. WHY because we absolutely must know the timing of the nuclear war, that occurs 2-3 years later, and thereafter when the AC marches to Jerusalem and takes it and the temple for his world headquarters. For then will be the start of GREAT TRIBULATION as war is declared against us and any that dare not take the A.C. MARK.
The ending dates and events are really not that important to us, as getting it right and exact for the GATHERING and our FLEEING into the wilderness (Petra). We have to know the middle times of the Last Seven Years. The rest of the dating and events will follow as the Lord unfolds what He has told His prophets, and told us of the END TIMES.
Therefore let me slightly modify the dating and lets get it RIGHT even if in HINDSIGHT, so our foresight will be as the Lord wants it.

Agree, pre trib rapture is a crock.... to put it mildly. Scofield started it, but escapism is a popular topic for any preacher who wants to keep their congregations in the dark and comfortable.

Actually Steven, if most of you HERE agree on events of the rapture, do show your timeline.

So I can visually see where we might agree or differ.
