A Knesset debate on the implementation of equal Jewish prayer rights at Jerusalem's Temple Mount degenerated into a shouting march Monday, as Arab Knesset Members used threatening words and aggressive body language to disrupt the meeting.
Strong earthquake shakes Chile’s capital
A strong earthquake has rocked central Chile, causing buildings to sway in the capital of Santiago. There were no immediate reports of major damage or deaths. The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting that the quake had a magnitude of 6.6, and its epicenter was located about 65 kilometers (40 miles) southwest of the city of Coquimbo. It's depth was 10 kilometers (6 miles).
Regev: Sovereignty on Temple Mount Trampled-On Recently
Chairwoman Miri Regev of the Knesset Interior and Environmental Protection Committee said, Monday, that Jews must go up to pray on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City according to the custom of the place and "certainly according to the law of the state of Israel, which allows freedom of religion."
US 'Will Force' Israel-PA Deal
The United States intends to try and force a peace agreement on Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA), IDF Radio reported Monday. The radio station says the US has informed Israel and the Palestinian Authority that if negotiations between them do not advance, Washington will propose its own solution, that will include a US position on every point that is in contention. In effect, according to the report, this will be an attempt to force the sides to agree on a solution formulated by the US.

Indonesian volcano erupts, hundreds evacuated
Hundreds were evacuated within a 3-kilometer radius of an Indonesian volcano in Sumatra, which erupted for the third time in three months, officials told Reuters. No casualties were reported. Mount Sinabung ejected a 7km-high plume of ash into the air on Sunday, which led to the evacuation. Four villages with around 1,293 inhabitants around the mountain were pulled out with the aid of the military; however, that number is expected to rise.
Yellowstone: Volcanic Eruption vs. Earthquake
The lava pool beneath Yellowstone National Park is more than twice as big as scientists previously believed, that's according to new research from the Geological Society of America. Scientists from the University of Utah say the lake of molten lava is nearly 50 miles long and 12 miles wide. Jake Lowenstern, a scientist with the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory, says even a small eruption could cause a minor disaster.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake hit Thursday evening and measured magnitude 6.6. It said it was centered in a remote mountainous area 45 kilometers (28 miles) south-southwest of the eastern coastal city of Hualian at a depth of just 9.3 kilometers (5.8 miles). It swayed buildings in the capital, Taipei.

Benjamin Netanyahu is planning to build a security barrier between the West Bank and Jordan in a move aimed at asserting Israel's control over the borders of a future Palestinian state. A magnitude 6.4 earthquake has been reported off the coast of Neiafu, Tonga. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no risk of a 'destructive' tsunami being generated and impacting New Zealand, the Pacific Islands or Hawaii, but says local tsunamis may occur within 100 kilometres of the epicentre.
