While all eyes, ears, and news reports (radio and television) are waiting for the next events in Syria to show fulfilling of the prophecy in Isaiah 17:1, the news media even stages events to keep the public eye on the Middle East and away from the events going on in our own country

The statue hoax was just one example in a long list of lies and psychological operations surrounding the multiple wars in Iraq. At the onset of Operation Desert Storm in 1990 a public relations firm by the name of Hill and Knowlton spent millions of dollars on the government’s behalf, constructing news pieces that would sell the war to the American public. One of the most moving pranks to come from this push to war was the testimony of a 15-year-old Kuwaiti girl, known only by her first name of N*yirah. In a videotaped testimony that was later distributed to the media she said “I volunteered at the al-Addan hospital, While I was there, I saw the Iraqi soldiers come into the hospital with guns, and go into the room where . . . babies were in incubators. They took the babies out of the incubators, took the incubators, and left the babies on the cold floor to die.”

Is this Syrian "media event" just another "false flag" to begin another war? Let's see....there was the attack on Pearl Harbor which began WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, "9/11" beginning the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, trying to start a war with Iran because of WMDs (which never proved to be correct).....and so much more!! Many, many are not included in that list of aggressive American attacks on other countries set up to happen due to "staged events" as causes for our attacks on other countries and peoples.

Yet the majority of Americans (and Christians) shout out "God Bless America" as we send our young men and women to fight and die.....

FOR WHAT? OUR "FREEDOM"??? Is our country BETTER and MORE FREE after all these wars? Today we are less free than we ever have been in our history. And we still believe the television and radio news when it continually lies to us!

Those of us who have lived the measurement of a "full life" according to Psalms 90:10 have NEVER lived in a time when our country was NOT AT WAR WITH SOMEONE. And the cause of this lays at our OWN DOOR.

Our government chooses who lives and who dies at the "flick of a pen" (see Executive Orders)....and this will only increase spectacularly when "Obamacare" goes into effect in about three more months.

The attack on Syria (Damascus) is just another "nail in our coffin".....

May God have mercy on us all!!

Re: Media lies


Well, Steven, that post made me think of two things:

Jeremiah 50:23..."How is the HAMMER of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations."

And as that worldly saying goes, "If you're a HAMMER, then everything looks like a NAIL."

If America thinks of itself as the "policeman of the world"...and it wields this power of a HAMMER to keep other nations in line, then every other country looks like the proverbial "nail".

But God also says in Romans 12:19..."Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.'"
