Does anyone realize that there is such a thing as a "self-fulfilling prophecy"? Suppose our government wants to DISTRACT US from what is really going on in our own country? What would a "wise" man do to cause this to happen?

Almost everyone, particularly a Christian, knows about the prophecy of the annihilation of Damascus in Isaiah 17:1:

"The burden of Damascus, Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap."

This prophecy has been known for centuries by almost everyone through word of mouth, particularly by Christians waiting as this being a sign of the end times. So....all eyes are on Damascus, Syria, whenever the news media speaks of events in the Middle East. Then, when this event happens...and it will...all Christians can say, "See? The Bible is right!!!"

But, the government knows this too! And the BEST WAY to keep our eyes off what they are actually doing RIGHT HERE AND NOW is to keep threatening that the prophecy of Damascus is about to be fulfilled.

But, Matt.12:39 and Luke 11:29 calls people who look for a "sign" as "an evil and adulterous generation."

The definition of FAITH is something that is UNSEEN, and it can't be proven by anything!! Looking to Damascus being annihilated is PROOF OF NOTHING! Evil governments can read, too! And they make use of these prophecies as DISTRACTIONS for what they don't want us to pay attention to.

Like, what is happening right under our noses in our own country. The media is SILENT on this. But, there are some who try to warn us:

Proverbs 22:3...."A prudent man forseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished."

This is why there is continuous "war" in the Middle East, which will never be won or lost....because it is a GREAT DISTRACTION from any other world events going on. All eyes are kept on Israel and Damascus so they won't see what is coming like a railroad train into their own back yards!

The reason for "false flag" operations is comparative to the story of "Chicken Little" declaring that the "sky is falling"!! For the first few times, the warning is heeded and protective measures are taken. After that, the warnings go unheeded. But, one day, it will really happen, and the public will be totally unaware....and unprepared.

GREAT POST ARLENE!! I think the devil's best tool is distraction...in our world, in our governments, in our lives.....keep everyone distracted so the Truth will creep up on them and bite them! It is happening on all levels, we are a world of distracted humans.
