Hello all! I wrote this letter about a year ago, and it was posted on another site. This morning, the Lord put in on my heart to share this again, on this site.

We all know that there are different layers of fulfillment for many prophecies in the Bible. I believe that when we are born again we enter the Kingdom of God and our souls are taken in rapture. This rapture happens in an instant and no man knows the day or hour of when this will happen for them. We become instant citizens in the Kingdom of God. We are now in the Kingdom, and the Kingdom is now in us, via the Holy Spirit. Let's look at some Bible verses that show this relationship and how it comes to be.

In Mark 1:15 we find Jesus, Himself, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God: " And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye and believe the gospel."

Jesus is telling them that the way into the Kingdom of God is right in front of them. He is the Way, and by the divine sacrifice of his earthly life and body, He would provide a way to save our souls while we are still in our bodies.

The words "at hand" have a meaning in Greek which is: G-1448, "coming close, approaching, drawing near". Thus, it was going to happen soon, and did happen when the Holy Spirit was sent at Pentecost.

Another example of this idea is also found in Mark 9:1 "Some standing here that which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the Kingdom of God come with power". This power is the power of the Holy Spirit that enabled one to be born again from above and become a citizen of God's Kingdom.

We are in this world but we are not of it! As soon as we are born again this world is just where our flesh bodies reside, but our souls reside in the kingdom of God.

In Luke 17 verses 20 and 21 we see how Jesus reinforces this concept.

"And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

We already reside in the Kingdom of God and have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus!! The only thing we are waiting for is to have our physical life and body of flesh reside in the same place.

Also in Romans 5:5 we are shown that God resides in our hearts;

"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."


When we are born again we are taken in a Rapture...the most important and eternal parts of us are already where we are to live eternally. That is why Jesus stresses the crucial importance of being born again!! If we are not born again, we will not be raptured into the kingdom of God while in this world, or taken to the Kingdom of heaven in the resurrection.

I believe that the only death that occurs for a born again Christian is the death to the self. When we are born again from above we have no fear of our bodies dying as we are assured of a resurrection.

Our greatest blessed hope is to be born again!! If we are born again then we are assured of a permanent residence in Heaven with our Lord and King. So, until His Glorious Second Coming, (His first coming for each of us was when He appeared to us and we believed), we can rejoice daily that we already live in the Kingdom of God.

When I really thought about this and realized what it meant, my spirit was lifted and I was able to rejoice in the fact of my blessed assurance and live each day for the Lord with an uplifted heart, and uplifted hands. If he tarries, it must mean that He has a purpose for us to fulfill here, and by fulfilling that purpose it adds to His Glory.

Let us celebrate each day with the awesome knowledge that we are already His and our hearts are in Him and He is in us!!! Go out into each day and share that with others and no matter when He comes for us we will be ready and full of joy. We will have the oil in our lamps and a spring in our steps!!

Hi Patti!!!

This is one of the BEST postings I have read in a very long time!!

There is nothing I would add to it....or take away from it. That is something I seldom (if ever) say to anyone! I never thought of it that way, myself, but this filled in a HUGE gap of truth that was missing.

This is exactly what the "body of Christ" should be doing in "assembling together". We should each bring out the BEST in each other....not for praise, but for completing us in our knowledge of God...

I just want to add something here that was included in another post, but it applies really well to this one, too.

When we are born-again, here is what happens to us.

SEVEN BLESSINGS IN BEING “BORN AGAIN FROM ABOVE”


1. We inherit Eternal life!! Our life becomes Christ’s life, and Christ cannot die again!!


2. We are born again as Sons of God; we pass from death into life and become a new creature.


3. God no longer deals with us as sinners. He chastises but His chastisement is not payment for sin, it is child-training, and all things work together for our good.


4. We are placed into the body of Christ. We are” flesh of his flesh and bone of his bone”. Our position is settled, we are joint heirs with Christ, mystically seated in heaven already! We are safe in God’s hands and cannot be plucked out.


5. God keeps our salvation, and we are eternally secure. The security of our soul depends on Christ’s righteousness, not our own. There is nothing that we can do to lose this salvation.


6. Jesus is faithful. He becomes our intercessor and he pleads our case when we are saved and we can never be condemned for our sins, past present or future.


7. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit. God gives the Holy Spirit to every believer when they are born again, as an earnest down payment of His promise to take us to heaven, and give us our inheritance.

Hi Patti....And you added this just when I didn't think it could get any better.....and it did!!!

It goes right along with my thought that since we are "IN" the "body of Christ", we are safe and secure forever because God does not have ABORTIONS....Ever!! That settles the "once-saved-always-saved" issue for me.

But that doesn't mean we won't ever "mess up" with wrong doctrine, or straying from the right path AFTER we are saved. And God will deal with us on those issues later....with the "stripes" He speaks of in Luke 12:47-48.

Hello all,

I am going "bump" crazy today, bumping up all sorts of my past articles that I think are worth another exposure as we have many new people that follow this site. Besides, these subjects are timely and many things are intensifying as we speak!

This particular article is one of my favorites and one that is extremely important, as no one will enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born again!!

It is the Baptism by fire that Jesus speaks of, as it is the sending to the Holy Spirit that leads us to all truth. This rebirth requires that we come to the end of ourselves and crucify our lives on the cross, and be reborn. This is what makes us a true believer and true follower of Christ. No works,no law keeping,no knowledge,no anything will substitute for this most crucial component to knowing Christ and being saved!

As time is running out, we need to see this is the rapture that the saints partake in for sure, when the physical rapture happens no one knows the day or hour, other than it is after the tribulation. But, being born again is definitely our spiritual rapture and must take place or our bodies will not follow.

JESUS IS ALL AND EVERYTHING AND HE IS COMING SOON!!!
