Dear Bruce,

I think your post is certainly correct about how close to THE LAST DAY, THE DAY OF THE LORD, THE DAY OF CHRIST, we are; and you certainly used good Scriptures to show what you mean. I have just a couple problems that I hope you will allow me to address. All the Scripture about the Second Coming is pointing to His Second Coming. He is only going to come one more time, and on THE LAST DAY. There are no scriptures, if you really study them out, that point to a Secret Rapture of His People. This is not what the Bible tells, and it is really important that this lie be exposed!! It is damaging to keep dividing the BODY OF CHRIST, into sections, as to which part will go and when! But even worse than that, giving a false hope to so many people, who you think will get saved when you are gone.

Why do people keep saying that His coming ,as a thief in the night, can only apply to a secret rapture? This, so called, truth is believed because people do not know their Bibles and the Word of God, or they are using their intellect instead of their hearts to be their Shepard and guide them. Instead of finding out for themselves they are really easy for prey for false prophets and teachers. We see this happening now, too.

The other problem is the timing. I am not saying that you are not right, but I think most people would agree we are much closer to the end of the age than 2016. Everybody is looking for this magic date, but that is just a diversion to keep everyone so distracted they have no idea that it will be THE LAST DAY. Truth is not about us, it is all about Him. That is why He wants people like me to challenge people like you to really search the Scriptures, and prove what you are saying. NOT about everything, Bruce, you are so right on in so many ways!

I appreciate how you challenge me, and make me search for myself to see if it is totally true. It is good practice, and it makes us stronger and more sure of our connection with the Lord, and with what He is showing us. Remember, Iron sharpens Iron...it is good to duel now and then, and keep our Swords of the Spirit, sharp. The Lord gave us this Sword, in fact it is our only offensive weapon, all the rest of the Armor is defensive, against the flesh and the world. Time is short, and without a 7 year timeline, for something that has been fulfilled, the 70th week, and for something that will not be fulfilled, a secret rapture...it is even shorter!

I cannot 'not' tell you this, as you are a beloved brother in Christ.
