Rapture Bible Prophecy Forum

(Rapture is a Vatican/Jesuit Lie )
The "Resurrection" has been erroneously labeled The "Rapture".
THERE IS NO RAPTURE

WHY THE TITLE RAPTURE BIBLE PROPHECY FORUM?
WE STARTED OUT BELIEVING IN A 7 YR PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE
BUT FOUND OVER TIME AROUND 2006 THAT THE BIBLE DOES NOT SHARE A
BIBLE VERSE WHATSOEVER INDICATING A 7 YR PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE

BIBLE VERSES EVIDENCE:

While Yahusha/JESUS was alive, He prayed to His Father: "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  John 17:15 (KJV)

Yahusha/JESUS gave signs of what must happen before His Return:  "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"  Matt. 24:29 (KJV)

CHRISTIANS....AND THE "FEASTS OF THE LORD" ....Leviticus 23

FOR FAIR USE AND EDUCATION AND DISCUSSION PURPOSES

Recently, I discussed the "Feasts of the Lord" with a friend. I had (mistakenly) called them by the name of "The Feasts of Israel." I was IMMEDIATELY corrected in my error. MY FRIEND WAS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

And this is a grave error made by many Christians today as our "Church" today is increasingly becoming more "Jewish" than Christian. And our Pastors in our apostate churches teach no differently.

What does God say about this in the New Testament:

"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: (vs.17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."...Colossians 2:16-17

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the TRADITIONS OF MEN, after the RUDIMENTS OF THE WORLD, and not after Christ."...Colossians 2:8

"For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the TRADITIONS OF MEN, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. (vs.9) And he said unto them, 'Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your OWN TRADITIONS.'"...Mark 7:8-9

The "traditions of men" are celebrating holidays that men create for "rituals" that they teach must be done to worship God. The New Testament has no such ruling for Christians to celebrate ANY "holidays". They are not necessary, and they may be harmful to new Christians by making them believe they are doing it to please God....they are NOT!

Ephesians 2:8-9..."For by GRACE are ye saved THROUGH FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: (vs.9) NOT OF WORKS, (celebrating holidays and festivals are "works") lest any man should boast."

LEVITICUS CHAPTER 23 DESCRIBES THE FEASTS OF THE LORD...IN THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE:

http://www.life.org/Feast.html

Piece of the link article:

These feasts are not just part of the heritage of Israel, there is something much deeper going on here. Fundamentally, these seven feasts represent and typify the sequence, timing, and significance of the major events of the Lord's redemptive career. They commence at Calvary, where Jesus voluntarily gave Himself for the sins of the world (Passover), and climax at the consummation of the Messianic Kingdom at the Lord's second coming. These seven feasts depict the entire redemptive career of the Messiah. These seven feasts were divided into the spring feasts and the fall feasts. The number "seven" is the biblical number of completion.

ANY OTHER FEASTS AND FESTIVALS ARE "ADDING TO THE BIBLE", AND THIS IS CONDEMNED BY GOD.....see Rev. 22:18-19

Copy of part of an article by Luckinbill which contains truths...

"The main point of the book of Hebrews was to warn new believers to stop continuing in the rites of the Law (all of which were still being practiced in Jerusalem before the second temple was destroyed). Paul's main point to his fellow Christians (converted Jews) who were sliding back into the old ways was that by participating in these rites it was as if to say that Christ had not died, or that His death had not been efficacious for the forgiveness of our sins, and that in turn was to "trample the Son of God under foot", an eventuality that made spiritual recovery impossible as long as the offender persisted in such compromise (Heb.10:26-31).

"So I believe it to be quite clear from scripture that for Christians to embrace superseded rituals of the Law in this same way is to send exactly the wrong message (not mention flirt with their own spiritual disaster), no matter how pure and noble the motivations to do so may be."

**********

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE CELEBRATION OF HANUKKAH IS FROM THE JEWISH TALMUD? It is NOT in the Christian Bible. It is also in the Apocrypha, which is not part of the Christian "Canon of Scripture".

Chanukkah (or Hanukkah) is the Jewish Festival/Feast of Dedication, also known as the "Festival of Lights.” It is an eight-day festival beginning on the 25th day of the Jewish month of Kislev, which typically falls in November or December on our calendar. Although this Jewish festival in not mentioned in the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible), it is referenced in the Talmud: “On the 25th of Kislev are the days of Chanukkah, which are eight... these were appointed a Festival with Hallel [prayers of praise] and thanksgiving” (Shabbat 21b, Babylonian Talmud).

The Jewish Talmud is anti-Christian and reviles Jesus Christ.

The story of Hanukkah is preserved in the books of the First and Second Maccabees. These books are not part of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible); they are Jewish apocryphal books instead.

The miracle of the one-day supply of oil miraculously lasting eight days is first described in the Talmud, written about 600 years after the events described in the books of Maccabees. The Gemara, in tractate Shabbat 21, focuses on Shabbat candles and moves to Hanukkah candles and says that after the forces of Antiochus IV had been driven from the Temple, the Maccabees discovered that almost all of the ritual olive oil had been profaned. They found only a single container that was still sealed by the High Priest, with enough oil to keep the menorah in the Temple lit for a single day. They used this, yet it burned for eight days (the time it took to have new oil pressed and made ready).

The Talmud presents three options:

1. The law requires only one light each night per household,
2. A better practice is to light one light each night for each member of the household,
3. The most preferred practice is to vary the number of lights each night.

In Sephardic families, the head of the household lights the candles, while in Ashkenazic families, all family members light. Except in times of danger, the lights were to be placed outside one's door, on the opposite side of the Mezuza, or in the window closest to the street. Rashi, in a note to Shabbat 21b, says their purpose is to publicize the miracle.

**************

There is nothing "Christian" about these extra-biblical "feasts" as they are Jewish (from the Talmud) in origin and should NOT be celebrated by anyone who loves our Lord Jesus Christ.

Purim is another Jewish feast day which Christians should not participate in. If it is alright to celebrate the Jewish feasts, then why not participate in some Islamic celebrations as well? Neither are Christian.

Matthew 6:24..."No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God (Jesus Christ)and mammon."

Most of us have been "conned" into believing that celebration of all "Jewish" things is approved by God....and it's time the truth be told. All a Christian is required to do is have "faith"...and study the Bible...II Timothy 2:15. A Christian will please God by being led ONLY by the Holy Spirit of God, and not by the traditions of men.
