"THERE SHOULD BE DELAY NO LONGER".....

When the one who swore by Him who lives forever and ever says "there should be DELAY no longer" He is referring to the last 3 1/2 years of the 490 year 70 Weeks of Daniel prophecy to be completed. The first 486 1/2 years were complete when Jesus was crucified in the midst of the 70th Week, but now the last-half, ie. 3 1/2 years, of the 70th Week of Daniel is yet future.

Revelation 10:6

"and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, that THERE SHOULD BE 'DELAY' NO LONGER."

The "delay" is the Church Age, and the rapture of the Church will end the "delay". Then the last 3 1/2 years of the 490 year 70 Week prophecy will be fulfilled.

According to Your Infallible Word, come Lord Jesus !

The Scripture you are referring to is Revelation 10:6:

"And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever; who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, THAT THERE SHOULD BE TIME NO LONGER."

The "time no longer", or "delay", as you put it...same difference...is further explained in verse 7:

"But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall BEGIN TO SOUND, (last trumpet of judgment) THE MYSTERY OF GOD SHOULD BE FINISHED, as he hath declared to his servants the PROPHETS."

And this "MYSTERY" is told to us EXACTLY as it will happen at this time when there is no more "time, or delay" at this time in world events:

I Corinthians 15:51-52 for the WONDERFUL explanation of this time:

"Behold, I show you a MYSTERY;(see Rev.10:6 for this exact mystery definition) We shall not all sleep, but we shall ALL BE CHANGED, (vs.52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP: for the TRUMPET SHALL SOUND, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

This is the SAME EVENT as happens in I Thess. 4:15-16:

"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto THE COMING OF THE LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep. (vs.16) For the LORD HIMSELF SHALL DESCEND FROM HEAVEN with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP OF GOD;: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:..."

These verses ALL describe the RESURRECTION WITH THE SECOND COMING OF OUR LORD. And, since some of these verses are used by the "pre-tribbers" to prove a "rapture" before some specific time of "tribulation" in this world for selective people. THIS PROVES THEY ARE WRONG.

God told us EXACTLY how it's going to happen....and WHEN it will happen. It will be at the sounding of the last trumpet judgement told about in the Book of Revelation. And, since the book of Revelation is told to us in "signs and symbols"....WE HAVE TO WATCH FOR THE SPIRITUAL MEANING AS WELL.

This blows your theory right "out of the water"!! There is NOTHING LEFT TO HAPPEN after this last Trumpet...because it's RESURRECTION TIME!!! If you think that the "wrath of God" will happen to unbelievers remaining behind after this....think again!! Read Revelation chapter 16 CAREFULLY.

The VIAL judgments are the SAME judgments as the Trumpet judgments....only INTENSIFIED. For instance, Rev.16: 3 says "the sea became as the blood of a dead man".

Revelation 8:8.."And the second angel sounded, (the 2nd Trumpet judgment) and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: AND THE THIRD PART OF THE SEA BECAME BLOOD;"

They are the SAME JUDGMENTS, ONLY INTENSIFIED! God does not clean up the bloody sea in preparation for making it bloody again!! The trumpets show 1/3...and the vials show increased intensity of the same judgment. That's why nobody has been effective in trying to make a CONSECUTIVE CHART of the events that are plausible!

All this happens at the same time...."delay not longer"..."mystery finished" and the RESURRECTION at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

This is what we are meant to understand from these scriptures.

You are ADDING something that isn't there! Remember the warning to us in Revelation 22:18..."For I testify unto EVERY MAN that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, (the Bible) If ANY MAN shall ADD UNTO THESE THINGS, God shall add unto him the PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK:..."

We are also warned, in vs.19, that those who TAKE AWAY from God's words in the Bible, that they will lose their part of being incorporated into New Jerusalem. These are those who will "rule and reign" with Jesus Christ. And, from my educated opinion, this means that those who mess with God's words in the Bible will not be among those who are "SEALED" in Revelation chapter 7.

I would seriously heed this warning....and I remind everyone the seriousness of listening to Pastors instead of God.
