The Abominations of Desolations

A Pattern of the successive Judgments of the House of יהוה

Prophetic Phi Ratio mathematical patterns marking the possible time for the 3rd Temple to be built

‘But when ye shall see the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, let (him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judea flee to the mountains.’ -Mark 13:14



The purpose of this Timeline/Chart (see online link above) is to highlight several key & unique time & date properties of the ‘abomination of desolations.’ These are the destruction that took place during the periods of the 1st and 2nd Temples of the LORD in Israel. This location in Jerusalem specifically is on what is referred today as the Temple Mount. The sequence of the date & times recorded in history -of such prophesized desolations could perhaps suggest a time period in the near future as well. This future time period based on prior date periods could help in determining where and when the 3rd Temple is to be built on the Temple Mount. According to some interpretations of the Bible, this subsequent 3rd Temple will likewise suffer the same fate of a desolation and perhaps an all out destruction, of a yet future desolation as it occurred to the prior 2 Temples. This study takes the prophetic position that a literal 3rd Temple is to be rebuilt.

The Bible speaks of a prophetic future ‘desolation’ that a false Messianic figure the nation of Israel will accept, will eventually bring to the 3rd Temple. He will convince National Israel that he is the long-awaited and true Messiah. At a certain ‘mid-point’, he will defile the Temple by ‘sitting’ in the Holy of Holies. This was referred to by Jesus Christ as being the ‘Abomination of Desolations’ –perhaps involving the very Ark of the Covenant … ’so that he as god sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:3) This interpretation thus necessitates a literal 3rd Temple that will have to be built. (For an illustration online, click here)

This accretion is according to how some interpret the Book of Daniel and Revelation; that the 3rd Temple will once again pertain to a time period where the Jewish Nation will have the stewardship of a physical Temple after the Rapture of true Christians from the Earth –as some interpret end-time events. This assumption should not be confused with the ‘spiritual’ components that currently make up the ‘Temple of God’ as in the Body of Christ that the Apostle Paul teaches in the New Testament. This specifically pertains to the current Church Age that some say is about to end before or at this convergence of the time period in question. The specific time period is from 2014-2022 with special emphases on 2015 and 2018.

This theory of when the possible time period for the 3rd Temple is to be built is based only on certain mathematical probabilities based on prior Temple date patterns. The patterns presented will incorporate a phi & pi coefficients that are overlaid onto the timeline (see chart) and subject to speculation. Other evidence to support this theory & speculation that the 3rd Temple might be built around the year 2015 is be based on several numerical & astronomical ’patterns’ of when Solomon’s & Herod’s Temples were destroyed. These 2 monumental key dates of when the 2 prior Temples were destroyed happen to also fall on the same Jewish calendar on the 9th of Av. The primary pattern looked at for this theory is that of a ’70-Year’ period of time directly related to the Temples. Each of these ’70-Year’ periods were directly associated with a Temple period –following ether before or after their desolation or destruction. Perhaps this same numerical sequence, that happen to reoccur in patterns can establish the 3rd 70-Year and 7-year pattern that has been associated with the previous Temples.



There are also other numerical calculations that will be presented that bring up specific year & date associations based on purely mathematical number computations. One such year or number of a year is ‘586 Years’. See the Mathematical Associations segment for reference. It is not the intent of this study or theory to fix a date for when the 3rd Temple is to be built. This study and timeline strongly suggests that given the prior time & date sequences of prior Temple periods, the patterns present a very unique convergence to a specific time period soon to come to pass. This theory only seeks to suggest that this period of time -based on the evidence presented, leads to a highly probable date period between the years of 2014-2015 of when the 3rd Temple –at least might begin to be built.



The Tetrad Factor
One key evidence that suggests this time period from 2014-2015 as highly significant, has to do with the Tetrads. A Tetrad is when you have 4 consecutive Blood Red Moons. It is particularly significant that Israel became a UN Member sovereign State on Nov. 5, 1949, just 29 days after one of the Tetrad’s Blood Moon occurred on the Feast of Sukkot Oct. 7, 1949. A Tetrad Blood Moon again occurred during the Passover season of 1967, precisely on April 24, 1967, just 44 days from June 7, 1967. This is when the Temple Mount was recaptured by the Israeli Defense Force IDF for the first time in almost 1900 years.

As the next Tetrad occurs in 2014-2015, their pattern and recent frequency strongly supports the notion that 2015-2015 will be very prophetic for the Nation of Israel and perhaps the 3rd Temple too. More specifically then, it could be little over a month of the Blood Moons as it was in 1949 and 1967. This would mean that either in mid May or November of either 2014 or 2015, one could possibly see the beginnings of the decree to built the 3rd Temple.

What is more significant about 2015 is that it will be the ‘midst’ of the 2 Central Blood Moons from 2011 to 2018 that span a perfect 7-Year period. The year 2015 will also witness an amazing Total Solar Eclipse dead center on the Spring Equinox of March 20, 2015. (See online chart for illustration, click here) Thus the coming celestial ‘signs’ point to 2015 and 2018 as being accented celestially, at least in terms of just how profound these dates will become to the prophetic time-clock of the LORD for National Israel and perhaps a 3rd Temple.

Another celestial marker leading up to the Tetrad of 2014-15 is Comet ISON. It is said that this particular comet will be the brightest comet known to Mankind so far. The comet will be able to be seen by the naked-eye around November 2013. Secondly, also on November 2013, there will be an extremely rare Solar Hybrid Eclipse. These 2 ‘heavenly signs’ perhaps might well be the prelude to the climax of the Tetrad of 2014-2015.

All together, these celestial benchmarks or ‘signs’ as some would prefer to call them, seem to bare perhaps a prophetic ‘witness’ of a convergence to the time period in question –that of 2014-2015. Perhaps this is the time period that the 3rd Temple might be decreed to be build; as to when it will be finished or dedicated? That is for another study, just to say that many believe that it will have to do with the Jubilee Year of 2015 in which the Jubilee is proclaimed on Yom Kippur. (See online Jubilee chart here) The year 2016 then is the Year and happens to be the ‘Year of Light’ or 5776’ that many in the esoteric world claim is when the ‘capstone’ will complete the ‘pyramid’ of the All-Seeing Eye’. Perhaps 2016 will be when the Temple is completely done and the AntiChrist has total control over it.



Tetrads on:
1) 1948-1949 Israel is restored as Nation for the first time since AD 70 after WWII (the Land)

2) 1967-1968 Jerusalem is recaptured and unified under total Jewish control (the Temple Mount)

3) 2014-2015 Perhaps as all the instruments of the House of God are ready (the 3rd Temple?)



IF the 3rd Temple is to be built in 2015, based on the evidence of the prior patterns already considered, then it will coincide with the Lunar Tetrad pattern 1948 & 1967. This Tetrad pattern also lines up with a perfect phi ration proportion in terms of time. On an aside note, it so happens that there will be 7 x 360 days from Feast of Trumpets on Sept. 14, 2015 to Tisha B'Av on Aug 7, 2022.



The 2018 Year Factor
Another possible key prophetic time-marker might be the year 2018 itself. This particular year appears to also be a time-marker for several reasons. What is significant about 2018 is that 2018 is 50 years from the 1967-68 Tetrad and 70 years from the Tetrad of 1949-50. There will also be a Blood Red Moon on Tu B’Av or July 27th in 2018. This Blood Moon is referred to as a ‘Central Lunar Eclipse’ or Bull’s-eye Blood Moon. They are referred to as ‘Bull’s-eye’ because during the eclipse, the shadow cast by the Earth on the Moon hits the Moon dead center, not to a side or partially covering the Moon. It is as though the LORD has put a big red marked ‘bulls-eye’ circle to be very explicit of just how sharp & focused this particular date is as it lines up directly with Jerusalem even!

Is it mere ‘coincidence’ that the Blood Moon will be directly in line with Jerusalem? This Bull’s-eye Blood Moon had its counterpart back in June 15thof 2011 that likewise was a ‘Central Lunar Eclipse’ or a ‘Bull’s-eye Blood Moon’ and was also directly in line with Jerusalem. What is astonishing is that from June 2011 to July 2018 these 2 Blood Moons compose exactly a 7-Year period. The year 2018 would thus constitute the ‘mid-point’. (See online chart for further reference: Link here) Perhaps this pattern is a prelude of what could be the start of the literal 7-Year Tribulation Period that could shortly to come thereafter starting sometime in 2015? Perhaps.



IF the theory holds, then this 7-Year period is signaling that indeed the Abomination of Desolation that is to come will be in the ‘midst’ of a probable 7-Year period of time per the Books of Daniel and Revelation. If this is the case, then the year 2015 could very well be the start-point of this prophetic 7-Year Tribulation time piece that is talked about in the Bible but many Christians dispute its timing. The year 2015 is also when the 2nd half of the Tetrad’s 2 Blood Moons occur. IF the pattern follows, then 3.5 years later on in 2018 is when the ‘in the midst’ that the Bible speaks could occur. This is when the AntiChrist orders a halt to the Daily Sacrifices at the Temple, according to some interpretations of the Bible.


To reiterate, based on the number counts from 1948 & the Tetrad of 1949, 1967 and 2015, the year 2018 could be the ‘mid-point’ when perhaps the AntiChrist will cease the Daily Sacrifices of the 3rd Temple and proclaim himself ‘god’ as he sits on the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies. It will be from that point on that he will demand worship from the Jews and the world, for that matter. He thereafter will seek to persecute the Jews and those Christians converted after the Rapture of the Church. It will be a time when National Israel will realize that this AntiChrist figure was & is the False Messiah and the Remnant of Israel will flee to Petra. ‘The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, (Petra) where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach (AntiChrist)’
-Revelation 12:14



Again, IF 2015 is when the Daily Sacrifices start -due to the 3rd Temple being build that perhaps started in 2014 with the 1st Blood Moon of the Tetrad, then 3.5 years later will bring you up to sometime in 2018. This Year then perhaps this when during some occasion or Feast in the ‘midst’ is when the ‘sacrifices’ are then to be ordered to cease by the AntiChrist. This will initiate the worldwide persecution of Jews & remnant Christians as the AntiChrist, once seen as the ’true’ Messiah of Israel betrays the Jewish Nation. In turn, YHWH will protection His Remnant Faithful to YHWH for the remainder of the 1260 Days or 2nd 3.5 Years per 1 interpretation of Daniel’s ‘Last Week of Years’.




This possible future 7-Year time period scenario that could be associated with a 3rd Temple could be set off by a war, an armistice, a ‘land for peace’ or swap for the recognition of Palestine as a sovereign state, for example. Nonetheless, this study and chart attempts to only illustrate that there are peculiar date and number associations that keep reoccurring that are associated with past destructions of GOD’s Temples. There is a singular corresponding time piece pattern of a 70-Year period and a 7-Year period that is interwoven in the very timeline of prior Temple ‘desolations’.

What the theory presented seeks to test is whether the last or 3rd ’70-Year’ and last ‘7-year’ periods will culminate in 2018 or is somehow associated with it. This could very well be the case –if you use ‘the year 1948’ from Israel’s establishment as a nation and add 1948 years from AD 70 when the 2nd -70-Year’ period that culminated in the destruction of the 2nd Temple. What the chart also attempts to show is that by incorporating the phi ϕ mathematical ratio onto the timeline since AD 70, it makes for some interesting numerical recurrences or patterns that seem to repeat during the convergence of space and time leading up to the timeframe of 2014-2022.

Prophetic Date Markers
If and when you will do a study on the 1st Temple most often referred to as Solomon’s Temple, you will find fairly quickly that the research is not clear as to when the construction of the Temple was first started. You will find alternate and competing start dates ranging from 833 BC, 965 BC, 970 BC and on and on. What is commonly accepted and agreed upon without much dispute is the date in which the 1st Temple was destroyed. This is 1 of the 2 dates primarily used for this study that are very reliable. Thus, the date has to do with the total destruction of Solomon’s Temple is 586 BC.

The next reliable and academically agreed upon date is when Herod’s Temple was destroyed, in AD 70. From these 2 established dates, the theory presented in this study seeks to only test by the extrapolation of these 2 prior dates, a 3rd date that can be ascertained to predict the possible timing of the 3rd Temple to be built. This is done by incorporating a phi and pi coefficient to these key and verifiable dates on the timeline.

1) Date #1: 586 BC the time the 2nd Temple, Solomon’s was destroyed ( a 70-Year lull between Temples)

2) Date #2: AD 70 the time the 2nd Temple, Herod’s was destroyed

3) Date #3: 2014-2018 the time the 3rd Temple is defiled? (AD 70 + 1948 Years = 2018) Emphasis on 2018



The first variable used for this study will be pi. The pi π variable will be taken from the research and work of the late David Flynn in establishing the dedication day of the 1st Temple as being 962 BC. The 962 BC date has been chosen instead for this study over the more speculative dates presented by many other interests. The reason being is that it has been proven to have a corresponding mathematical principle associated to it. This numerical coefficient would make this date a perfect pi ratio in terms of mathematical configuration related to the Great Pyramids of Giza according to Flynn. Some researchers have actually provided correlations taken from Isaiah 19 that present the Great Pyramid as a type of or model after the House of God in terms of dimension and proportion.

The second variable used for this study will be phi. The specific numerical value that will be used is ‘1948’. This date will incorporate the factor of ‘1948’ as a year and numerical value that will have a phi Φ ratio ascribed to it. The numerical factor of 1948 is used as the template because it corresponds to the year Israel declared its sovereignty as a re-born nation on May 14, 1948. With this in mind, the theory and speculation involves the testing of the 3rd 70-Year time period that culminates and is calculated to be on 2018. The patterns will be examined to see if the 3rd ’70-Year’ pattern that occurs when 1948 years are added from AD 70, when the 2nd Temple was destroyed, corresponds to the year 2018. The year 2018 is also 70 years from 1948. Further, if you add a 50-Year period from when the 2nd Tetrad occurred in 1967, you get 2018. Already, 2018 has also the poignant Bull’s eye Blood moon over Jerusalem as if to exclaim its significance and perhaps very prophetic event to occur.

What is also striking in establishing the phi ratio proportions onto the timeline from the 2nd major date benchmark of AD 70, is that one will realize that the 70-Year Babylonian Captivity between the destruction of Solomon’s Temple in 586 BC to the beginning of the construction in 515 BC of Zerubbabel’s Temple was ‘in the midst’ of the phi ratio of the 1204 years when overlaying the phi ratio of 1948 years form the benchmark date of AD 70. (See chart for illustration.)

The third variable considered for this study is the 9th of Av occurrences. This notorious date in the Jewish calendar is when the 1st and 2nd Temples were destroyed. Perhaps this will be corresponding date as well when the Bowl Judgments begin to be poured out directly onto the Kingdom of the AntiChrist that will be centered around the Temple Mounts’ 3rd Temple: ‘The 5th Angel poured out his bowl on the Throne of the Beast, and its Kingdom was plunged into darkness.’ -Revelation 16:10

1st Temple destroyed: 9th of Av 586 BC

2nd Temple destroyed: 9th of Av AD 70
3rd Temple desolated?: 9th of Av 2018?

Historical Context
As we see prophetic events coming sharper into focus with eclipses, comets, Tetrads, etc., we can ascertain that all these signs leading up to the year 2015 will be prophetically profound. In the year 2015, there will be exactly 1,945 years now that the Jewish people have not had a Temple service or stewardship since AD 70. This stewardship of the Temple was and will be prescribed by the LORD to be a ‘House of Worship’ for the one and only true GOD, Creator of the universe & mankind.

Coincidentally, it was in 1945 that WWII ended and Israel came back to life from near attempts at genocide and mass extermination of its race. It was out of the Nazi Holocaust experience that multitudes, as never before went back in droves to the Promised Land. Ezekiel 37 described Israel’s condition to that of the ‘Valley of Dry Bones’ where thereafter, Israel was to become a mighty Nation and Army (IDF) and has. But according to the Bible, the House of GOD, which is a facsimile of the actual one in Heaven, can only be located and built on the Temple Mount that is in Jerusalem where the prior 2 House of GOD Temples once stood.



Yet, today that piece of land that encompasses the Temple Mount in Jerusalem for the Jews represents the apex of their current struggle with their GOD, faith and identity. To many religious Jews, what is still needed and lacking is their Temple. Until the 3rd Temple is built, Judaism is sort of not validated because of this missing connection to the Temple. Along with the Temple, the Ark of the Covenant also associated with the 3rd Temple needs to be unveiled because it is only then that this majestic article will necessitate of a Temple to house it.

What better ancient and historical artifact than the actual Ark of the Covenant that Moses had constructed to be made manifested by the False Messiah National Israel will accept. And what better person than Moses himself to return and witness against Israel for entering into such a ‘covenant with death’ the Bible foretells will happen. As some interpret the Bible, Moses will return to deal with Israel as he had in the time of the wilderness journey that seemingly, Israel today finds itself in terms of its rebellion and rejection of GOD’s true Messiah, Jesus Christ 1984 years ago from 2018. Thus it is why perhaps the LORD will still commission Moses as one of the 2 Witnesses to be employed as this agent for Israel’s reconciliation; Moses had done that in the past and is well aware of the hard heart condition & mental disposition of the Jewish Nation.



To reiterate, what is at stake for the Jewish Nation and the rest of humanity, according to the Books of Daniel and Revelation is the unfinished business of Israel’s reconciliation; between GOD & his People and the judgment of GOD upon the Nations of the world for their treatment of Israel since AD 70. Perhaps we may see this in our very own lifetime unfold, especially if the celestial signs & prior Temple desolations are any indication of the time we are about to enter into prophetically, mainly the periods from 2014-2022.



The Temple Mount
Currently, the Temple Mount houses 2 mosques, which according to islamic tradition, is the 3rd most holiest site next to Mecca and Medina for muslims. Because of this, there has been a struggle of faiths, between the muslims and the Jews over this territory. This constant struggle has involved religious fervor, hate and violence on both sides over the Temple Mount –among other disputed issues between them. Many who study Biblical prophecy and End Times see that this religious struggle could very well be the trigger that leads to WW3.



Ironically the Temple Mount –although captured during the 6-Day War in 1967 was given over to the administration of the Jerusalem muslim Waqf. As a ‘good will’ political gesture, after the 6-Day War of 1967, the decision was made by the Israeli government to only allow the Waqf the administration of the Temple Mount. It was agreed upon and certain prescriptions were stipulated; that of avoiding any desecration of the Temple Mount and provide freedom of access to all religious groups. This has not been the practice by the Waqf since 1967. Over the recent decades, there has been documented evidence of massive desecration going on by the muslims to deface & erase any remnants of a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount under the guise of ‘renovation’ projects.

Technically, Israel has total sovereignty over the Temple Mount but Israel is a ‘secular state’ that sees this religious issue of a 3rd Temple very problematic in terms of geo-politics & its arab neighbors. Although ‘freedom of access’ has been the law in theory, in practice the secular Israeli government currently enforces the ban on non-muslim prayer on the site as a ‘security measure’. Often times, Israeli Police have to escort Jews and Christians on tours. Any non-muslims who are observed praying on the Temple Mount are often expelled and escorted out. The rationale behind this current policy & practice by the Israeli government is that there is fear of muslim rioting or Intifadas -as they have occurred in the past.

As the volatility of the political, social, religious and economic conditions are ever-changing in the Middle East, the prophetic clock is ticking away and will come to a head. This in turn at some point, , will force Israel’s secular government to have to deal directly with the issue of a 3rd House of GOD on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. When this happens, Israel will become the center of the LORD’s prophetic epicenter to the countdown to Armageddon and beyond. Incidentally, so too will the New World Order and the coming AntiChrist, for that matter, seek to eclipse the LORD’s plan for the House of the LORD. This will be done with the help and work of the religious ‘False Prophet’, whomever he might be, through deceit, lying wonders and deception; even causing ‘Fire’ to come down from the sky as describe in the Bible.

Israel will once again be led into the ‘valley of decision’ as in the days of Elijah when he caused ‘fire’ to come down in full view of Israel as an admonition to not have a wavering and unbelieving heart toward the LORD. The difference is that then, the Jewish Nation ‘chose’ the LORD, at least in word. The decision will not be the same for National Israel during this coming time of 2014-20122; they will ‘accept’ the ‘false christ’ as their Messiah as Jesus Christ even foretold this would happen. ‘I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.’ – John 5:43



Mathematical Associations
To reiterate, this study and accompanied chart presented are only suggestive -given the prior patterns that involve the 1st and 2nd Temples of Israel. As the demand for a 3rd Temple once again by the Jewish Nation is ever increasing, it so happens that numerically & astronomically, there are several phenomena that are converging on a period of time like no other, 2014-2015.



This specific period of time involves the years from 2014-2022 with an emphases on 2015 and 2018. If the precedence of the prior desolations or destructions of the Jewish Temples are any indication of what is to come, then prophetically, the Jewish Nation will soon be at the fulcrum of a monumental prophetic time as it directly relates to the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple.

Listed below are just some correlations of how certain numbers and year dates keep reoccurring or are associated to the prior Temple desolations or destructions.



A 7-7-7, a 7 & 70-Year Numerical Value

Starting from King Solomon, you had a total of 21 Kings rule in Judah.
This is a (7 x 3) or a 7-7-7 pattern.

1ST TEMPLE: 969 BC to 962 BC, a 7-Year Period to build the Temple

2ND TEMPLE: AD 63 to AD 70, a 7-Year Period culminating just before destruction of Temple

3RD TEMPLE? AD 2015 to AD 2022, a 7-Year Period? with 2018 being the mid-point?



1st Temple - Destroyed at Beginning of 70-Year Period

2nd Temple - Destroyed at End of 70-Year Period

3rd Temple - Desolation at Midst of a 7-Year Period?



A 586 Numerical Value

If you add Solomon’s Temple when it began in 969 BC to its destruction in 586 BC, you get 383 years. Then if you add 383 years to the duration of 2nd Temple, Zerubbabel’s from 515 BC to AD 70 you get 586 years.



If you add 515 BC, the time Zerubbabel's Temple was finished to AD 70 years, the time the 2nd Temple was destroyed, you get 586 years. It gives you the exact year Solomon’s Temple was destroyed.



If you take the year 586 BC, the time Solomon’s Temple was destroyed minus 515 BC years when Zerubbabel’s Temple was finished, you get 70 Years. It is the duration in between the destruction of Solomon’s Temple to the start of the building of Zerubbabel’s Temple or the Babylonian Captivity. Also it was the same year the 2nd Temple was destroyed in AD 70.



The Desolations

1ST TEMPLE
Solomon erected other temples to his many wives; became apostate & was paid a salary of 666.
‘They set up their abominations in the House that is called by my Name, to defile it.’ -Jeremiah 32:34

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon eventually destroyed the Temple in 586 BC.

Then you add 53 years (1 Generation) to 691 AD when Dome of Rock construction begun
Then 691 AD + 53 year Generation Factor = 744 years, which is a Phi Ratio of 1948


IF 1 Generation = 52/53 Years
52/53 Years x 7 cycles = 364/5 (Solar Prophetic Year)
744 years Phi Ration of 1948 - 586 BC when Solomon Temple Destroyed = 188 Cycle of Years
586 BC + AD 70 years = 656 - 774 = 88 Years
1204 Phi Ratio of 1948 - 970 BC Solomon Temple Started = 234 years



The House Steward-ship

The Bible declares that the LORD mandated the stewardship of the House of GOD or Temple to the Jewish Nation but that the Temples were also intended to be the ‘House of Prayer’ for all the Nations. With such honor and stewardship comes much responsibility. It is also a double-edged sword in that such stewardship over the Temples became a burden to the Jewish Nation. Likewise this apostasy can and does occur to many Christians in dealing with the Spiritual House Christ is currently building with ‘Living Stones’. The ‘Abominations of Desolation’ was and is but a symptom of Man’s inability to uphold the LORD’s righteous requirements due to the Holiness of the LORD, our sinful nature and love of our sin.



Mankind falls short of being able to uphold GOD’s integrity. Humanity, as a Fallen Race according to the Bible is in sin and cannot uphold the LORD’s precepts because of this human condition; but if not for the work of GOD the SON. GOD the SON was born as a human, yet fully GOD and fully MAN to show the human race the full extent of the Father’s love for the world. Jesus Christ imputed His righteousness to all humanity – to those that will avail themselves through repentance and faith. Christ was able to accomplish this substitutionary work because there was no sin, nor sin nature in him, humanly speaking; he was a perfect, sinless human representative of all humanity and for all humanity. Jesus Christ is thus called the 2nd Adam on our behalf due to His loving kindness toward a Fallen Race of Humanity.

This reconciliation to the Father was demonstrated through His mercy and grace accomplished through death and suffering of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary; it was a substitutionary death, 1 for all. The cost of sin is the eternal death and separation from the True and Living GOD for all eternity. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ bridged this separation of sin’s demand by paying the cost to reconcile humanity back to the Father –at the cost of His own separation experienced at the Cross of Calvary. But any human substitution demanded perfection. Jesus Christ fulfilled this requirement and thus was able to pay for humanity’s restitution by His sacrifice at the Calvary.

Yet the principle remains the same for the LORD’s People even now as it was for National Israel. The standard regarding His ‘House’ in the spiritual sense and practically for our own bodies has to be maintained holy. Why? Because, now according to the Bible, our bodies are the ‘Temple of the Holy Spirit’. The Jews did not nor could not uphold such a majestic standard -as evident in the 2 Temple’s prior desolations and subsequent judgment upon GOD’s people for their sin and defilement of GOD’s House.

Yet now as believers and followers of the True Messiah of Israel, Jesus Christ does provide someone that National Israel did not have, the ‘Comforter.’ It is the Holy Spirit that enables GOD’s power to have the LORD work through His People & override the sinful nature, through the indwelling of GOD the HOLY SPIRIT in our bodies. In fact it is just a down payment or deposit as 2 Corinthians 1:22 states of what glory is yet to come upon our new incorruptible bodies. It is with the help of GOD the HOLY SPIRIT that empowers the Disciples of Christ to uphold, maintain and live out such a high standard before men and the LORD. We just have to be faithful to daily confess our sins and work at forsaking our love of sin.

‘For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the Blessed Hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a People that are His very own, eager to do what is good.’ -Titus 2:11-14


Sin in the Camp
In the current Church Age, the Apostle Paul likewise warns the Body of Christ, God’ Spiritual Temple, that unrepentant sin will likewise cause defilement and compromise the witness of Christ to the world. Paul likens the human body as a mysterious spiritual ‘temple’ that GOD is somehow using each individual Believer in Christ to construct a ‘Spiritual House’ in which the LORD Himself will dwell in the midst one glorious day. So it is incumbent upon those that profess Christ as LORD and Savior to live a holy life and present one’s physical body –not as a dead sacrifice but a living one, meaning that as we go through life, we need to choose against what would compromise and/or cause defilement to our physical bodies & GOD’s integrity. More so, we need to guard what we allow by way of the body’s gateways that can cause damage to our soul for all eternity as well. (Sins of words, thoughts and deeds.)

We are currently seeing before our very eyes in the world and Church, the defilement or ‘desolations’ that are now being openly embraced outside but more shockingly inside what is so called the mainstream ‘christian church’ on many levels. There is no doubt to many Believers and Followers of Christ recognize that we are living in the Leodecian Church Age, in general. Nowhere else is this condition more prevalent than in the USA and Western Europe. In many segments of Christendom, the rule of the people has forced Christ outside the Church in exchange for the world’s standards of what is right and wrong, good and evil.

Yet, simultaneously, we are currently still in the mixing of the wheat the tares, the sheep and the goats until the ‘separation’ –that is the Rapture of the Church by the LORD happens. Many looking at such prophetic patterns as presented in this short study & timeline of prior Temple desolations and destruction cannot help but realize just how close we could possibly be to such a countdown to the Blessed Hope. Perhaps this ‘harvesting’ and end-gathering as it was for the Jews at the end of WWII will likewise trigger a time of ingathering just before the convergence of this possible up-and-coming time period from 2014-2022 that could well mark the construction of the 3rd Temple.



May we not cause nor allow ‘abomination of desolations’ in our ‘temple’. May we be found faithful of our stewardship before men and the LORD. May we continually avail ourselves of the cleansing power of the LORD through prayer, fellowship, study and witness. As we practice these, Christ’s promise to us, this Bride, is that He will be ever faithful to continue to wash us with His WORD and precious Blood. This justifying, sanctifying and purifying work of Christ through the Holy Spirit will allow us, one day to be able to present us before the Father in Glory.

At that time, Christ, the Groom will usher us into the real Holy of Holies in the true Temple and House of the LORD in Heaven and thereafter, to the many rooms prepared for us in the True Temple of the LORD. This is even so in the New Jerusalem that is to come down from Heaven thereafter ‘as a Bride adorned for her Husband.’ May we be found guiltless without accusation before the Bema Seat of Christ after the Rapture. May we to be those that are fit vessels -suited for a place in the New Jerusalem that will be GOD’s House of Worship & Prayer for all the Nations.
