WE SHOULD ALL BE ABOUT THE TRUTH. Jesus Christ is TRUTH, and we "are in " Jesus Christ. But how do we conclude something to be a truth, or dismiss something that is understood as fact, unless we know all the facts? We can't!! That's like playing tennis with one racquet....it can't be done!
We FIRST have to THOROUGHLY EXAMINE the issue. We hear ONE SIDE from "authority figures"....the news media, the government politicians, the President of the United States, and, most of all, the Pastors behind the pulpits in today's churches.
All of the above can be TOTALLY RELIED UPON FOR THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH, can't they? (And if you believe that, then you will also believe the fact that a "Sumo" wrestler gets into peak form by taking ballet lessons.)
Then, SECONDLY, we have to thoroughly examine the OPPOSING arguments.
AND THAT'S THE PROBLEM TODAY WITH NOT UNDERSTANDING THE TRUTH OF AN ISSUE. PEOPLE ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO LISTEN TO, HEAR, READ, OR INFORM THEMSELVES IN ANY POSSIBLE WAY, OF OPPOSING THEORIES, PROOFS GIVEN, OR ANY IDEAS AT ALL ABOUT CERTAIN SUBJECTS.
So, my fellow Christians, if that is your way of coming to the truth, then so be it. You don't have to answer to me...but you WILL eventually have to answer to GOD for all you think, say, do, and believe in this lifetime. Because what you believe, you carry forth into actions...and you spread your opinions to others as FACTS, whether they are truth or not.
