THE 'ANTI-RAPTURE' CROWD SHOULD READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE HOLY SCRIPTURES WHICH DESCRIBE THE RAPTURE....






It is true that the word 'rapture' does not appear in the Scriptures. It is a word that is used, in the vernacular, to describe 'the event' whereby Jesus appears to 'gather together' His elect Church of believers, and remove them from the earth to heaven before God renders His judgement of wrath upon the whole world. The following Scriptures describe the coming 'rapture'. If you do not believe in the 'rapture', you likely will not included in it either !




2 Thessalonians 1:8-10

"....when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do NOT OBEY the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He come, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints who believe."




2 Thessalonians 2:1-3

"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our 'gathering together' to Him...."




1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be 'caught up together' with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."




1 Corinthians 15:51-52

"We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible; And we all shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet."




Matthew 24:31

"And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will 'gather together' His elect from the four winds..."







So you see, the phrases: "gather together", and "gathering together", and "caught up together" are all used in the Scriptures to describe the coming 'rapture' of His elect Church.




I feel sorry for those who do not believe the Divine Scriptural Truth about the "gathering together" of His elect to be raptured to heaven, because you will probably be left-behind to meet Satan during the last-half of the 70th Week of Daniel. Jedsus will decide your fate on the Day of the rapture.

JUST BECAUSE THE WORD 'RAPTURE' IS NOT FOUND IN THE BIBLE ........






Those who deny the existence of the 'rapture' like to say that the word 'rapture' is not even found in the Bible therefore it does not exist. They are correct to say that the word 'rapture' is not in the Bible, but the word 'Bible' is not found in the Bible either. Does that mean that the Bible does not exist either ??????????????




So you see, that is the kind of logic the rapture deniers form their opinions.

John 12:47-49

"And if anyone hears My words and does not believe......He rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that WHICH JUDGES HIM --- the WORDS that I have spoken WILL JUDGE HIM in the last day. So you see, those who deny the Truth of ANY OF THE WORDS of Jesus rejects Him, and does NOT HAVE SALVATION. You are judged by whether you believe HIS EVERY WORD !

JESUS SAID, "FOR THEN THERE WILL BE GREAT TRIBULATION", DISBELIEVE JESUS AND BE CONDEMNED...






The following Scripture is the spoken word from the mouth of Jesus while giving His Olivet Discourse:




Matthew 24:21

"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be."




Anyone who denies the Divine Truth of this Scripture will be condemned by the spoken word of Jesus. When Jesus says something you had better believe it or suffer the consequences. Who does anyone think they are to refute the spoken word from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ ?




If Jesus says a "great tribulation" is coming you had better believe it or be condemned to hell. do not let yourselves be lead to hell with those who deny the spoken word of Jesus !

Perhaps this will straighten out where you are going wrong. Perhaps you are reading the WRONG Bible....a wrong "version"...

I am repeating one I posted today, but it is appropriate here.

It's very frustrating to argue a point with someone who does not read the same Scriptures....because they come from different bibles which do not say the same thing.

So, I have decided to COMPARE what one says vs. another...and see where wrong doctrine originates:

The RSV (Wescott & Hort translation) is seen here.

The KJV (1611 authorized King James Version) is seen here...BUT IN BLUE.

NOTE: Original manuscripts were perfect and inspired. Translators' versions are not, because human interpretation is put into the mix. However, one tells the truth....and one does not.


COMPARISON OF WHAT EACH BIBLE SAYS


24 "Seventy weeks of years are decreed concerning your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.

KJV: 24 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."

25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time.

KJV: 25 "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times."

26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off, and shall have nothing; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war; desolations are decreed.

KJV: 26 "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and the end of the war desolations are determined."

27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause sacrifice and offering to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.

KJV: 27 "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."


THEY DO NOT SAY THE SAME THING. WRONG DOCTRINES COME FROM CORRUPT BIBLES. WE BELIEVE WHAT WE READ.

One Bible points to Jesus Christ, and the other one points to someone else. This is why so many Christians cannot believe that Galatians 3:17.."..."that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ..." DEFINES WHAT IS SAID IN DANIEL 9:27. Jesus Christ "confirmed the covenant". The RSV says "he shall make a strong covenant". The KJV clarifies for us that this has ALREADY BEEN COMPLETED by Jesus Christ. The RSV puts this "shall make a strong covenant" IN THE FUTURE.

But then, it's up to EACH BELIEVER to do their OWN RESEARCH as to how and where their doctrine is achieved...it's SOURCE. If it comes from corrupted "pulpits"...or corrupted bibles....it is WRONG DOCTRINE. And if you realize, and understand this....CHANGE WHICH BIBLE YOU READ before arguing with others.

A Christian who reads, studies, and BELIEVES the King James Bible CANNOT, AND WILL NOT come to the same doctrinal conclusions as one who reads, studies, and BELIEVES the Revised Standard Version.

That's why many of us argue doctrine. So, I think the BEST WAY to resolve some matters is to question the BIBLE source BEFORE putting up argument.

Apples are not the same as oranges. And it is impossible to compare the two...except they are both "fruit". Color, texture, taste, and visual aspects are DIFFERENT. (This is a metaphor.) And Bibles that are different cannot be compared with resulting doctrine either. ONE CONTAINS BAD FRUIT....and the other tells the TRUTH.
