Yahusha/JESUS gave signs of what must happen before His Return:  "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"  Matt. 24:29 (KJV)

Jesus also said:

BEFORE THE CROSS:

(vs.16) They are not of the world (at least we are not supposed to be), even as I am not of the world. (vs.17) Sanctify them through THY TRUTH: THY WORD IS TRUTH." (Don't listen to the doctrines of MEN.)

ON THE CROSS:

"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, 'IT IS FINISHED': and He bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."

And, as further instruction after this, in Galatians 6:14-16

"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom THE WORLD IS CRUCIFIED UNTO ME, AND I UNTO THE WORLD. (vs.15) For in Christ Jesus neither CIRCUMCISION AVAILETH ANY THING, NOR UNCIRCUMCISION, BUT A NEW CREATURE. (vs.16) And as many as WALK ACCORDING TO THIS RULE, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon THE ISRAEL OF GOD."

THIS IS GOD'S DEFINITION OF "ISRAEL" It is NOT A "JEW" (rule of circumcision) nor the present-day Nation of Israel. God's "Israel" is PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST. They have a "circumcision of the heart"...Roman's 2:29.

If what you speak of is "Jacob's trouble" (Jeremiah 30:7)....then I see no "Jacob" (unsaved people) or his "trouble" in any of these verses. Or a "rapture". When the Lord's time is fulfilled, there will be a "resurrection"....I Cor.15:52 and I Thess. 4:15-18. And the FIRST resurrection is described in Rev.20:5...and the next one "a thousand years" later.

The "work" of God is FINISHED. He told us it was, and I believe it!!

Believing is UNDERSTANDING as well as just reading....
