EVERY BIBLE NAME HAS A MEANING....and a lesson to be learned.

FOR FAIR USE AND EDUCATION AND DISCUSSION PURPOSES

It is now, and it has been for a LONG TIME now that Christians are spending hours, days, weeks, months, and YEARS trying to PROVE WRONG DOCTRINE issues.

They don't see the TREES for the FOREST!! I thought of that because, in the Bible, men are symbolized as "trees".

Mark 8:24..."And he looked up, and said, 'I see men as TREES, walking.'" This was said by the blind man after Jesus asked him if he could "see" anything.

This BLIND MAN (through "healing" by Jesus with spit) could "see" spiritual things that most Christians today cannot. They are "spiritually" BLIND. Most church-going Christians can spend a day spouting things they have concluded about the "70th week of Daniel" being in the future (WHICH IT IS NOT), but they don't even know that a great Bible truth is in Mark 8:24.

Neither can they see the "hidden things" (Proverbs 25:2) that God has put in the Bible for us to find...IF WE SEARCH, STUDY, AND UNDERSTAND what He wants us to find. We want to all be called "KINGS", and "rule and reign" with our Lord Jesus Christ in His Kingdom, but most REFUSE to go on to the GLORY they will receive by doing their homework.

YOU WILL NOT LEARN THESE THINGS IN A CHURCH BUILDING WHILE SITTING IN A PEW LISTENING TO ANOTHER "MAN"!

You can learn them from other Christians who have studied and found these things through the leading of the Holy Spirit of God...OR....you can learn them for yourselves by putting in the time and effort through love of God. But you won't learn them if Jesus Christ, and the Bible, are not the most important things in your life. Guaranteed!

So, what story does this tell us? What themes are interwoven in this statement?
First, it begins and ends with a good theme. It starts with praising the Lord and ends with a son of my right hand. The hand signifies "power," and the right hand signifies "eminent" or "divine power." Jesus is now seated at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19; Acts 2:33). Stephen, being full of the Holy Spirit, saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God (Acts 7:55). In his Patmos vision, John saw Jesus holding seven stars in His right hand (Revelation 1:16). Further, the right hand was always used when a patriarch wanted to bestow a special blessing on a son, especially one being afforded the blessing of the inheritance of a firstborn (Genesis 48:14).

Second, sonship is the central theme. Sonship is all about maturing from a child of God into a son of God, and this comes about through spiritual perfection that is ultimately manifested through resurrection and transfiguration into an immortal, glorified, spiritual, celestial body in the image of the Son of God. This speaks of the 8th day, which is the resurrection day. When we first believe, we are born from above with the seed of God residing within us (1 John 3:9), but this seed must grow and mature until one day it births the new man in us.

The above list has a hidden meaning...and so do the names all through the Bible. It's worth studying them. The list in Rev. chapter 7 reflects the same truths....the names TELL YOU SOMETHING that you don't "see" with "natural" vision.

I wanted to show, by this, that there is a LIFETIME to spend on learning things God has put there in the Bible for us to find. It's a shame that so many waste years on only the Jews, Book of Daniel, and the "rapture".

There is SO MUCH MORE to discover and be amazed by!! Understanding the Bible is understanding God.
