If you read ANY book, you CANNOT UNDERSTAND the whole plot of it UNLESS YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND WHO THE CHARACTERS ARE IN THE BOOK.

You CANNOT determine the "bad guys" from the "good guys" UNTIL you understand HOW THE BOOK DEFINES THE CHARACTERS by the AUTHOR OF THE BOOK.

If you DISBELIEVE what the "author" has told you, then YOU DON'T, AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU CONCLUDE FROM THAT BOOK.

THIS WOULD BE UNDERMINING THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK, AND TO DO SO WOULD BE PURE IGNORANCE....AND INSULTING TO THE AUTHOR.

If you disagree with these statements, then there is absolutely no help for you by reading any further.

What I am speaking of, if you hadn't already guessed, is THE BIBLE. GOD IS THE AUTHOR OF THE BIBLE. HE DEFINES HIS CHARACTERS IN THAT BOOK. But, it's a "Book" of "hidden mysteries" whom only the most diligent of us are willing to spend time and energy in discovering.

IF YOU GET THE CHARACTERS WRONG....YOU HAVE ALSO GOT THE MEANING OF THE BOOK WRONG. IF YOU HAVE THE WRONG FOUNDATION, YOU HAVE THE WRONG STRUCTURE ALL THROUGH THAT "HOUSE" THAT YOU HAVE BUILT.

Characters (people) in the Bible come in only TWO possible combinations:

GOOD PEOPLE...saved...followers of God...Israel (OT)..."spiritual Israel" or "body of Christ"(NT)...."bride"..."sons of God" (Romans 8:19)..."the woman in Rev.12 (corporate "Israel of God" (Gal.6:15-16)...."tribes of Israel" in Rev.7...."virgins" (spiritually not apostate)....and others, whom we can determine by their works and actions.

BAD PEOPLE...unsaved...rebelling against God...Jews...Edomites...false prophets..."man of sin"....Babylon and "Mystery, Babylon"...Egypt...Sodom....and any others who are not among the definition of "good people", who are also determined by their works and actions.

THERE ARE NO OTHERS. THERE ARE NO "NEUTRAL" PEOPLE...ALL ARE "BAD" OR "GOOD". SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND, REALLY!

If one cannot understand the DIFFERENCE between the "good people" and the "bad people" then they will come to a FALSE UNDERSTANDING that the "bad people" are not "bad" (as God as told us they are), but will take it upon themselves that these "bad" people are REALLY the "good" people.

So, the BEST THING to do is to analyze the ORIGINS of these "bad" people:

Who was the First Jew?

We know that Saul was the first king of Israel and that John was the first man called Baptist, but who was the first Jew? Neither Adam, Seth or Noah are called Jew. Nor were Abraham, Isaac or Jacob. Moses was not called a Jew and neither were Saul, David or Solomon called Jew. In fact you will not find the word Jew in the first eleven books of the Bible.

The first time Jews are mentioned in the Bible, is in II Kings 16:6 (and then only in translations revised in the eighteenth century) where we find Israel was at war with the Jews and drave the Jews from Elath. Isn't it interesting that we can read over five hundred pages of the Bible before we find a Jew anywhere, yet those who call themselves Jew today claim the first five books of the bible and call it their Torah.

Do you not find it rather strange that those who claim to have written the first five books of the Bible and call themselves Jew, can't find the word Jew written anywhere in the book they call their own bible, and claim to have written? Jesus Christ tells John in Revelation 2:9 "I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews and are not, but are the SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN".

We know that God changed the name of Abram to Abraham in Genesis 17:5, and that He changed the name of Jacob to Israel in Genesis 32:28, but nowhere in the Bible do we find where God changed the name of Israel to Jew! There is therefore no authority by which those who say they are Jews can claim to be Israel!

By the time of Jesus the word Edom or Edomite had been translated by Greek and Latin into Ioudaios and Iudaeus meaning a Judean or person living in Judea. The original King James version of the Bible, 1611, translated Idumaean-Judean into Iewes. It wasn't until the revised editions of the King James Bible, that the word Jew appeared. The word Jew does not mean Israel or Israelite! We must conclude therefore that the first "Jews" were Canaanite-Edomite-Hittite. It is certain, according to the Bible, that Jews are not Israel.

Remember, the name Israel was first given to a single man who gained a spiritual victory, who admitted his true character and was willing to depend on God. Then, in Exodus, as we get into the story of Jacob or Israel's descendents, we see, for the first time how it is used in a different way:

"And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:" (Exo 4:22)

Here God applies the name Israel to the corporate body of Israel's descendents. And it is used as such many times through the rest of the Old Testament.

We can see that the significance of the name Israel is that it applies to one who is an overcomer with God, one who is willing to admit their need of the Divine Presence and to depend not on themselves but on God. God's intent, we will see, is that this same name, (this same experience) should be shared by others and that Jacob's story should help us to understand our need of having the same overcoming experience that he had. The original intent was that Jacob's descendents should share this experience and spread it to others, even the whole world.

The first use of the name "Israel" and an understanding of how and why Jacob was so renamed helps us to understand that it designates more of an experience than an ethnicity.

Also, it is important to understand that the name Israel (and especially the experience it designates) was never intended to be restricted to one group of people. The promise to Abraham was that:

"... Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?" (Gen 18:1

The New Testament further indicates that the blessing is meant for ALL:

"And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed." (Gal 3:

"That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." (Gal 3:14)

The term Israel is to include all who will be chosen to have that experience and receive the blessing.

Don't make the "bad guys" into the "good guys" just because someone TOLD YOU they are. BELIEVE THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK.....GOD!

Or would you rather, still believe the lies of Satan rather than what God has told you in His "Book"? Isn't that calling God a liar? Be careful, because judgment will fall on those who do this.
