Nobody should ever stop learning. When you stop learning new things, living, as God means us to, stops in it's tracks! You become stale and lifeless.

And when you stop using your brain to figure things out, your brain atrophies (gets smaller or loses cells...thinking diminishes).

That's the problem with many Christians. They learn a doctrine, and they never analyze it, and they never question anything...THEY BELIEVE WHAT THEY ARE TOLD from "Day 1" and their "spirit" becomes stagnant. (It's like having "spiritual Alzheimer's disease".)

[And then they attack those who are learning things that don't correspond to their way of thinking....without searching for the truth]

In my life, today is no different from yesterday. I know less today than I will know tomorrow. And usually God shows me things I didn't even have a clue about.......but He puts them right there for me to learn.

But the unfortunate thing about MOST "religious" Christians is that the "judge a book by it's cover" rather than OPENING THE BOOK AND FINDING OUT WHAT'S INSIDE.

I have no "label". My mother gave me my name. But throughout my life, others have made "nicknames" for me....some appropriate, and some not! I have had functional names like "wife (former), "mother", "nurse", "friend", etc. But those are only things I did...not who I am. It's the same with everybody.

A "CHRISTIAN" (lover, believer, and follower of my Lord Jesus Christ) is WHO I AM INSIDE. I don't see myself as anything else, and I haven't for years.

I don't STOP at "labels", given to things, either. I read EVERYTHING put in front of my eyes because I LOVE learning. Yet, unfortunately, most Christians "label" themselves...and look no further.

If one is a "Methodist" or a "Pentecostal"...then one must NEVER LOOK at the information contained within beliefs of a "Seventh Day Adventist", or a "Mormon", or ANY "religion" they, themselves, have put the label of "cult" upon.

THIS IS WHAT I CALL "STUPID" BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER NAME FOR IT!

Every "religion" has SOME KIND OF INFORMATION that might be valuable....but you don't necessarily have to believe the totality of "false doctrine" (by your determination). As Steven has said, "Eat the meat, but spit out the bones".....GREAT SAYING.

And, having said that, I found some great information today under a title of "Trinitarian".....but it has NOTHING TO DO WITH A SEPARATE RELIGION.

Eternity is the ever-present now, literally timeless. Forever, in contrast, is merely a concept of time stretching out to an everlasting future. The body houses and carries the soul through events in time/space, where physicality works according to natural laws. Events of human endeavor also proceed from the dynamics of impetus to idea to manifestation.
