Most FunDemental scholars say the coming of Jesus is the rapture and the Day of The Lord mentioned here is the 2nd coming....

2Thess 2 says the Departure (of the Church) happens first then the AntiChrist is revealed in the first seal....The word departure (apostasy) is falsely translated and falsely understood in the King James...... see www.lewishb.biz for my commentary/paraphraise...its NOT just my idea,,, the proof of this has been understood for centuries!!!

Seriously, though, I have studied much for lots of years on this topic and believe what I say is correct....

so do most all Fun-De-mental Baptists in the BBFI...or is it the IBBF ???

Lewis, most who have studied the pre-trib position understand the points you brought as part of that interpretation. I would challenge you to see if you maintain that position after watching the video posted a couple of post above yours, and if so you can remain confident in your belief, but if you watch the video and keep an open mind you will at the very least come out with a broader perspective and maybe also discover there are other interpretations that have at least or more compelling arguments in favor of a different position.

I am still studying different views on this. One thing I can tell you is that I have seen a blood moon. So the concept that the rapture cannot happen until one sees a blood moon is not necessarily right.
When was it, you may ask? It was in December a few years ago, not too long after my husband died in 2009.
I went outside to see if I could spot it, and there it was, a big piece of bloody raw hamburger, not a pretty sight at all. But it was amazing that I was able to see it. We have clear air most of the time where I live, so it was very clear. I don't remember the precise year. After my husband died categorizing years did not seem important.

There are some amazing studies on the blood moons, such as the Biltz one and Scottie Clark's. Scottie Clark's timeline on Eternalrhythmflow is amazing. But he does not say which of these tetrad moons will be the date of the rapture, just that they are in 2014 and 2015 on Passover and Tabernacles in each year. A pretty amazing coincidence. It is the Lord sending us a heads up.
