The "apostate" church today believes things the Bible says according to what their "pastor" tells them. Many of those behind the pulpits of today's churches are "wolves in sheep's clothing"...yet, their word is considered "Gospel" when, in reality, it leads many of their "flock" astray.

DON'T BOTHER LOOKING FOR "ENOCH, ELIJAH, OR MOSES"...THEY ARE NOT THE WITNESSES OF REVELATION CHAPTER 11.

LUKE CHAPTER 10


10:1 After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them TWO AND TWO before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

In some bibles, the number of the WITNESSES sent forth by our Lord Jesus is "72" instead of 70. Either way, this "two and two" should make us recognize the similarity of Revelation chapter 7....72 X 2 = 144 (144,000).

The "two and two" should make us immediately think of Rev.chapter 11 and bring to mind "two witnesss".

10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

"The harvest" time will be at the end of this age during the 1260 days that the "woman" (left behind after the raising up of the "man child" of Rev. chapter 12) will be separated into "witnesses" going "two by two" throughout the world declaring the true gospel throughout the "wilderness", which is the world.

10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

The witnesses will be hated by the whole world of those who are "unsealed"....Rev.11:9-10. Just as those who try to explain the truth of Scripture NOW are not believed by those who believe "another gospel". They will be vilified by those "unsealed" in the world.

10:4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

This was during the time when Jesus walked the earth, as those are His own words. However, during the 1260 days, there may be a change as seen in Luke 22:36-37. In Luke 22:39 it says, "Pray that ye enter not into temptation" which brings us back to Luke 21:36..."Pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy (sealed) to escape all these things...etc". So the Book of Luke speaks much about the time of the 1260 days of "wandering in the wilderness" for the church in the time of the end.

10:5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

Instructions given to these witnesses.

10:6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

More instructions to the "two by two" witnesses in the last days.

10:7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

Apparently, God will put His witnesses where He wants them to be...and they will all stay in their assigned places.

10:8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

You will be welcomed (and fed, and taken care of) where the Lord places you....see Rev.12:6.

10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

These "sealed witnesses" will be able to perform miraculous things through the power of God. See Rev.11:5-6...their powers will be much greater during this time.

10:10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

If their "witness" is not accepted, they are to walk away....

10:11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

And they are to let people (even those who will not accept it) know that God's judgment is here as well as His Kingdom.

10:12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

If some people do not believe the witnesses, God's wrath will be upon them when the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed....and very soon!

10:13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

Unbelievers of the world are reminded of God's wrath coming because they refuse to repent of their sins and unbelief.

10:14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

Because this is the time, Jesus told us, that will be more terrible than anything that has ever happened before in this world....Matthew 24:21.

10:15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

Those who think they are "righteous", but are only "self-righteous" will soon learn the error of their ways....the hard way!!

10:16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

Those who listen to the "witnesses" will be hearing what God is telling them. Those who do not listen will be punished because they hate God and reject His salvation.

10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Again, the number "70" (or 72 according to some manuscripts)...pointing to the "144,000" sealed who will be the world's "witnesses" to the Gospel...(72 X 2 = 144) and magnified to the highest (1000) power = 144,000. And 144 is the measurement of New Jerusalem (the body of Christ as a "temple")...see Rev. 21:17.

10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Points directly to Revelation chapter 12 verse 9..."that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,..he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." These have to be the same event because this will only happen ONCE from the time of the birth of the Messiah to the Second Coming.

10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The "witnesses" will be given the power to perform miracles...see Rev.11:5-6..and they will be able to protect themselves by the power of God.

10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Self explanatory. Those "sealed" are part of the "first resurrection" and they will have no further fear of judgment beyond what they are presently going through. Actually, being a "sealed" (protected) witness, rather than being part of the "man child", who is called up to the throne of God (Rev.12:5) IS the Judgment of I Corinthians 3:15....it is the salvation "yet so as by fire" (judgment) when disqualifying works done (wood, hay, stubble) will be burned through the fire of tribulation.

[All judgment is "under the sun", or, in other words, "on earth", which is under the sun...Ecclesiastes 3:16]

10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Those who are "wise in their own eyes" because they have learned "theology" in school, or from other "men" will find out that God only reveals His secrets to those who are "in Christ" (as babes) and continue on to search the Bible for the real truth...and grow to maturity. Matthew chapter 7 talks about these kinds of "Christians" who unwisely judge people who search for themselves. Verse 7 tells us to ask GOD ALONE, and He will give us the truths we need to know.

It's not wise to spend an hour in "church" each week, and spend no time alone with Jesus every day (in His Book), just by yourself. He wants your love (and need for Him) seven days a week...not just one. He also wants you to know your "bridegroom"...do you? How well did you know your "earthly" spouse before you married him/her? Should you do less with your "heavenly" spouse?

10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

You will only have this "revealed" to you as you get to know Him from the Bible....by yourself. Nobody gets to the Kingdom of God while holding someone else's hand.

10:23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:

Rev. chapters 2 and 3..."He that hath an ear, let him hear..."

I agree that you "can't fix Stupid" unless "Stupid" WANTS TO smarten up!!

Then I must be "Stupid" according to your definition and standards.

What I see, which is ACTUALLY IN the Bible:

Revelation 12:9.."And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan....etc."

(and around the same time as this happens)

Revelation 12:5..."And she brought forth a MAN CHILD, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: (see Rev.2:27...this is PART of the church) and her (the "woman's") child (those taken OUT OF the woman) was caught up unto God and to His throne."

I see NOTHING about "NOW salvation" being represented by ANYTHING in those verses......and they show SOMEONE COMING DOWN while SOMEONE IS GOING UP. The "woman" is the church, but the "MAN CHILD" comes OUT OF the church.

[The "type and shadow" of this is the "bride" of Adam (Eve) came OUT OF his BODY (his rib).....but she (the "bride", Eve) was NOT HIS WHOLE BODY. So the "BRIDE OF CHRIST" (who is the "man child") will come OUT OF THE WOMAN (the body of Christ...the church).

Jesus Christ is the "last man" Adam in I Corinthians 15:45....this is to tell us that His "bride" will happen in the SAME WAY that the "first man Adam" had his "bride" (Eve) come....OUT OF HIS BODY!!

The "bride of Christ" and the "man child" are the SAME THING!! They are the "sons of God". EVERY Christian receives the "power" to BECOME one of the "sons of God" (John 1:12), but not every Christian uses that power to MATURE as a Christian. Most remain "babes" in Christ and learn very little by sitting in a pew every week instead of studying their bibles....read II Timothy 2:15. A Christian who is "worthy" has shown himself "approved unto God" by "rightly dividing the word of truth." And the "manifestation of the sons of God" will show who did their "homework".

The Bible shows that this series of events are at the time of the "sealing" of the 144,000...who turn up to be the "two witnesses". It is the "manifestation of the sons of God" spoken of in Romans 8:19...THE EVENT for which everyone has been waiting.

Romans 8:19..."For the earnest expectation of the creature WAITETH FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD (the "man child" who is taken OUT OF the "woman")."

The NOW salvation has nothing do do with the "rapture of the church"...because the "rapture of the church" will be 1260 days LATER, and that event is seen in Revelation 11:12..."And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, 'Come up hither.' And they ascended up to heaven IN A CLOUD; and their ENEMIES (those who refused to believe AFTER the 1260 days) beheld them."

THERE ARE NO "CLOUDS" IN REVELATION 12!! The "rapture" is in the CLOUDS....see I Thess.4:17...Then we which are alive and remain (of the saved, along with the "witnesses" of Rev.11) shall be caught up together with them IN THE CLOUDS, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

The "rapture" of the Church is at the END of the 1260 days and JUST BEFORE God's wrath comes upon the unbelieving world. The "rapture" of the "man child" is the MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD (they are taken up just PRIOR to the 1260 days). They are TWO DIFFERENT EVENTS happening 1260 days apart. The "man child" consists of those who are "worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass..."Luke 21:36.

Be careful whom you call "Stupid" or you might end up just looking in the mirror.
