There is NO "week of Daniel" in the Book of Revelation

There is NO "week of Daniel" in the Book of Revelation. That totally eliminates a "pre-trib" rapture because there will be no "week" of Tribulation for ANYBODY. The time periods in the Book of Revelation are for 3 1/2 years....and it is NOT for the Jews, specifically. It is for EVERYONE, and those who are "sealed" by God amongst the "body of Christ" will be protected through it. It is a time of trial and testing by God to prove our faith in Him alone. The 144,000 ARE THE SAINTS WHO WILL BE SEALED....see Revelation 21:17. New Jerusalem (who WE are...God's temple) is the same measurement....144. Our placement in New Jerusalem, I believe, depends upon our "overcoming" whatever is put before us during this time....and being "witnesses" for God to the rest of the world, including the Jews.

Some people says the "tribulation saints" are the JEWS. Really? I thought the definition of a "saint" was a believer in Jesus Christ. A Jew is one who does not believe Jesus was the Messiah. A Jew hates Jesus, so a Jew can't possibly be a "saint". And how could a bunch of "born again" (recently) people KNOW ENOUGH to preach the Gospel to the rest of the world, anyway?

I really don't know how to format a letter that would make people see their error, unless the Holy Spirit reveal it to them. But, I did look up a pretty good explanation of Daniel 9:27 that was written by Steve Wohlberg. It's a very clear explanation that doesn't add in a lot of garbage. It's all those newer bible versions (Scofield, Wescott, Hort) who have destroyed the meaning of Daniel 9:27. And if they are reading and studying the wrong bible, nothing can help them but a moving of the Holy Spirit to allow them to see the truth.

Most of the "church" is making the SAME mistake the Jews made 2,000 years ago....expecting Jesus to return and set up a kingdom for the Jews in their own land. "Ain't goinna happen!!!" The kingdom Jesus is now building is a spiritual one....with "spiritual Israel". Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you."....it won't be one we can see with our eyes, so we shouldn't be looking for it in that way. Most Jews and Christians are going to welcome the "kingdom of the antichrist"...unfortunately.

This is what Wohlberg wrote:

A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes. — Mark Twain (1835-1910 )

Christians often debate about whether Jesus Christ will return for His Church before the seven years of tribulation (the “pre-trib” view), in the middle of the seven years (the “mid-trib” view), or at the end of the seven years (the “post-trib” view). Yet by far the most important question worth asking is: Does the Bible really predict a future “seven-year period of tribulation” in the first place?

Shockingly, there is no specific Bible text predicting any seven-year tribulation. The entire theory is based on an interpretation of one primary verse, Daniel 9:27, which says:
He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease… (Daniel 9:27 KJV ).

Modern interpreters often conclude:

1. “He” is the Antichrist

2. Antichrist will make a treaty with the Jews for “one week” (the last “week” of the 70-week/490-year prophecy)–meaning seven years of Tribulation.

3. In the middle of the Tribulation, Antichrist will cause the sacrifices of a rebuilt Jewish temple “to cease.”
Thus Daniel 9:27 is applied to Antichrist, a seven-year Tribulation, and a rebuilt Jewish temple–yet the verse itself says none of this. The fact is that countless credible Bible scholars of the past applied Daniel 9:27 to Jesus Christ, not antichrist.
Matthew Henry’s commentary on Daniel 9:27 states, “By offering himself a sacrifice once and for all, he [Jesus], shall put an end to all the Levitical sacrifices.” (1). British Methodist Adam Clarke’s commentary says that during Daniel 9:27’s “term of seven years,” Jesus Himself would “confirm or ratify the new covenant with mankind.”(2). The Jamieson, Fausset and Brown commentary also says: “He shall confirm the covenant—Christ. The confirmation of the covenant is assigned to Him.” (3).

The following ten points provide solid evidence that Daniel’s 70th week doesn’t refer to any future Tribulation at all. Rather, it was fulfilled nearly two thousand years ago.

1. The prophecy of “seventy weeks” means seventy straight sequential weeks. There is no example in Scripture (or anywhere else!) of a time period starting, stopping, and then starting again. All biblical references to time are consecutive: 40 days and 40 nights (Genesis 7:4 ), 400 years in Egypt (Genesis 15:13 ), etc.

2. The 70th week follows immediately after the 69th week. If it doesn’t, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week!

3. It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and 70th week. There is no gap between the first seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. Why insert one between the 69th and 70th week?

4. Daniel 9:27 says nothing about any “tribulation,” “rebuilt” Jewish temple, or “antichrist.” Zero.

5. Daniel 9:24-27’s focus is the Messiah. After the Messiah is “cut off” (referring to Christ’s death), “the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.” This refers to the destruction of Jerusalem by Roman armies led by Prince Titus in A.D. 70. ( 4 )

6. “He shall confirm the covenant.” Paul said “the covenant” was “confirmed before by God in Christ” (Galatians 3:17 ). Jesus Christ came “to confirm the promises made to the fathers” (Romans 15:8 ). The word “covenant” is Messianic, and always applies to the Messiah, not antichrist.

7. “He shall confirm the covenant with many.” Jesus said, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many…” (Matthew 26:28 ). Jesus was quoting Daniel 9:27 specifically.

8. “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice…to cease.” After 3 ½ years of ministry, Jesus Christ’s death put an end to all sacrifices in God’s sight. He is the final Sacrifice!

9. “For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate” (Daniel 9:27, KJV). It was abominable for the Jewish leaders to put God’s Son to death. This ended their temple. Jesus predicted, “Your house is left to you desolate” (Matthew 23:38 ).

10. The 70 weeks applied to the Jewish people (Daniel 9:24 ). Christ’s public ministry lasted 3 ½ years during which His focus was “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 10:6). After His resurrection and then for another 3 ½ years, His disciples preached mostly to Jews (see Acts 1-6 ). When the Jewish Sanhedrin stoned Stephen in 34 AD (see Acts 7), the gospel shifted to the Gentiles (see Acts 13:46 )–exactly as prophecy predicted.
The evidence is overwhelming! These eight words found in Daniel 9:27: “confirm… covenant… many… midst… sacrifice… cease… abominations… desolate” all find perfect fulfillment in Jesus Christ and early Christian history. One major reason why the Jewish nation as a whole failed to receive its Messiah was because its scholars misinterpreted Daniel 9:27. They failed to see Jesus Christ as the predicted One who would die in the midst of the 70th week! The same thing is happening today as Christian scholars misapply the same prophecy.

The “seven-year tribulation theory” is like a gigantic bubble. Once Daniel 9:27 is correctly understood and the pin of truth inserted, “Pop goes the seven years!” It’s a fact: There is no Bible text that teaches any “seven-year tribulation.” If you hunt for it, you’ll end up like Ponce de Leon searching for the Fountain of Youth. He never found it.
Jesus Christ confirmed the covenant and caused the sacrifices “to cease.”
May error cease in our minds as we follow God’s truth
.

Re: MUST READ: There is NO "week of Daniel" in the Book of Revelation

Prove to me by the scriptures that the 144, 000 are saints who will be sealed! That is utter nonsense! Read Revelation 7:3-8 again! It's crystal clear that the 144, 000 are 12, 000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. We are not from the twelve tribes of Israel! There will be 144, 000 jewish virgin men who are sealed by God! The only mention of what will happen to tribulation saints is that the beast will make war with them and overcome them. Read Revelation 13, and see that when the image of the beast is set up, those who refuse to worship the image of the beast will be killed. Also, saints will not take the mark of the beast, and they will be beheaded(Revelation 20:4). There will be no supernatural protection for tribulation saints! You can't prove it scripturally!

Re: MUST READ: There is NO "week of Daniel" in the Book of Revelation

Hi Kevin....I really ADMIRE a Christian who is a "fanatic" for what he/she believes in. You are going to be a mighty powerful voice for God once you understand who "Israel" really is. It is NOT the Jews!

For many years I had the EXACT SAME beliefs that you do....and I argued them as strenuously as you, as well.

Then, as I continued in my researches of various NWO events, I suddenly understood who the "Israel of God" was in Galatians 6:16. This was the KEY to opening up the rest of the Bible to me. The "Israel of God" is "spiritual" Israel (believers in Jesus Christ). It is not "natural" Israel, who are physical descendents of Abraham. Jesus told the Jews that they had to be "spiritually" circumcised (in their hearts) to become "spiritual Jews". Fleshly Jews are not even seen as "Jews" by God.

Dr. Larraine Day has one of the best explanations I've ever read:

http://www.goodnewsaboutgod.com/studies/israel2.htm

*******

Piece of the article:

Rev 7: 4 "And I HEARD the number of those who were sealed; 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. (John did not SEE the number, he HEARD the number)

From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000 ...

After this I LOOKED and there before me was a GREAT MULTITUDE that no one could count, from EVERY NATION, TRIBE, PEOPLE AND LANGUAGE standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.

John HEARS the number of 144,000, but he SEES a GREAT MULTITUDE that no man could count. The number 144,000 is NOT literal, it is symbolic for a Great Multitude that no one can count.

(The 144,000 AND "the great multitude that no one could count" are the SAME.)

(The 144,000 are NOT Jews - they are from ALL nations, tribes, peoples and languages.)

*******

Revelation chapter 7 is referring to the tribes of "spiritual" Israel, and not to "natural" Israel. In today's world, all the "tribes of Israel" are scattered all around the world....they are NOT just settled in a "nation" that was named "Israel" by the U.N. in 1947/1948. Nobody can look into a mirror and say "I am not a part of Israel"...because nobody knows who they are.

The measurement of New Jerusalem has the number "144" in it's description...Rev.21:17...and this refers to the "temple of God". And because "spiritual" Israel are the 144,000, this makes the perfect connection. The number 144 is (12 X 12) which is "perfection in God's government", of which New Jerusalem is the "Temple". "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God?...I Cor.3:16

If God didn't want us to make this connection, it wouldn't have been put in those places in the Bible. Otherwise, the number 144 would just be another number.

Prayerfully, you will see this soon...

Arlene

Re: MUST READ: There is NO "week of Daniel" in the Book of Revelation

Arlene, if you believed at one time what I know and believe now, you were adhering to sound doctrine. Somehow, you have gone astray from sound doctrine though. We ARE NOT Israel, or part of the 144,000! That is utter nonsense! 144,000 is an exact number, and is not the same as the multitude that no one can count. You are getting the two groups confused. As long as you continue to spread false doctrines, I will refute them!

COMMITTING THE "UNPARDONABLE SIN".....

FOR FAIR USE AND EDUCATION AND DISCUSSION PURPOSES

Is anybody in the "body of Christ" committing this "unpardonable sin" today? That can only be answered by knowing what this "sin" is....

Many, many definitions....very lengthy and unclear....have been given for this term. However, this one site gives a no-nonsense, and very understandable explanation in definition.

The Unpardonable Sin

Pieces of the article containing the "bottom line"...

"According to the text, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (the unpardonable sin) is attributing a work of God to Satan, or attributing a work of Satan to God. Blasphemy is to speak injuriously."

"Can the Holy Spirit be blasphemed today? YES. Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is when a person knows God did a certain work, but he attributes that work of God to Satan, or when a person knows Satan did a certain work, but he attributes that work of Satan to God. Both Satan and God are working today - are they not?"

http://www.independencebaptist.org/bible%20outlines/Matthew/12v22-32.htm

Today, many Christians interpret Daniel 9:27 as being the "antichrist" confirming a covenant with many when determining to whom the "he" refers. This verse is being interpreted as a "peace treaty for 7 years" being signed between the Antichrist and the Jews (National Israel).

Does hearing the truth of this verse change anyone's mind? And is believing what others say, and not what the Bible tells you, a form of "blaspheming the Holy Spirit"? This is actually attributing to the "antichrist" what Jesus Christ did.

This "blogspot" gives a good understanding of what is being done:

Re: MUST READ: There is NO "week of Daniel" in the Book of Revelation

Hi again, Kevin...

One day it will come to you just as it did to me. Sooner or later the truth comes to everyone, or it will, eventually.

I just don't want to do the same thing Esau did and give away my inheritance (as a "son of God"....John 1:12) to the Jews, who have not been given that power while they remain in unbelief.

But, as I said, you will not see (understand this) until the Holy Spirit opens the "eyes" of your understanding.

Here's a "man made" Proverb that closely resembles what I am trying to say:

There Are None So Blind As Those Who Will Not See:

• According to the ‘Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings’ this proverb has been traced back to 1546 (John Heywood), and resembles the Biblical verse Jeremiah 5:21 (‘Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not’). In 1738 it was used by Jonathan Swift in his ‘Polite Conversation’ and is first attested in the United States in the 1713 ‘Works of Thomas Chalkley’. The full saying is: ‘There are none so blind as those who will not see. The most deluded people are those who choose to ignore what they already know’

Re: MUST READ: There is NO "week of Daniel" in the Book of Revelation

Hi Steven,

Interesting analysis by all. The 144,000 are the ruling government of God in new Jerusalem. They are SEALED in Revelation 7. They are witnesses of Revelation and are killed when the BEAST makes war on them in Revelation 11. They are seen after their deaths returning with Christ on mount Sion in Revelation 14. There are JEWS among these, as 3 of the TRIBES of Israel are Jewish as in Juda, Benjamin, and Levi. These people are of the bloodline of these 3 tribes, TRUE blood relatives of these people. The lost 10 tribes are GENTILE. ALL 12 of the tribes came from Hebrew bloodline of Abraham. Jews did not exist until Judah was born. This began the JEWISH blood lines. Spiritual Israel is made up of both Jew and Gentile, as the 12 tribes are made up of Jew and Gentile bloodlines. Although BOTH are from the main stock of Abraham or Hebrew.

Again, the JEWISH term for a people, did not start until JUDAH was born. ALL of the tribes of Israel came from ABRAHAM, who was Hebrew. And we all know that Judah came from Abraham. SO, ALL humans are gentile, except for the Jewish blood lines that started at Judah. Benjamin and Levi lived with and intermarried with the tribe of Judah, so they are all of the JEWISH people and have the same blood. The only ones that are not gentile are the seed of Satan, that came out of Cain. After the flood that killed ALL bloodlines, THEN Noah began again with PURE gentile DNA. Until some angels decided to do it all over again and mix with the seed of man. This contamination of the seed of man by fallen angels began the SECRET LUCIFERIAN FALSE WORSHIP system of NIMROD! And the Goddess of Heaven worship that continues today under the Catholic Religion. A true PERVERSION by SATAN of the virgin Mary that was the blessed of God to bring forth Jesus in birth.

I know you know all this, but I had to interject from a different perspective for the masses.

Everyone wants to be special with God. But NO ONE seems to count the cost of being special. It is not a wanting, but a choosing by GOD to be one of the 144,000. And they are the firstfruits, Revelation 14:4, so the first to suffer as servants in the end times before being the first to be told to "Come up hither" in Revelation 11:12. I know a lot of people do not believe this, but all they have to do is read their bible. Proof that part of the two witnesses are The House of Israel and The House of Jacob, can be found at Isaiah 43 and Jeremiah 11: 16 & 17. The 144,000 are of the TWO OLIVE TREES and the candlesticks are the other part of the TWO WITNESSES. Two sets of 2!

I am just finishing up a bible code matrix that I found on the two witnesses. It is a shocker! I ran a statistical analysis with the Bible Code software program on this matrix and the odds came back at:

1 (ONE) chance in 2,669,217,673.657!

I will send you the 2 pages with all the statistical information on every word found in the matrix and the odds.
