Again, I was reading some of the information put out by L.Ray Smith, and I have noticed he talked about the different character of the resurrections as seen in the Feast Days of the Lord.

I, for one, have been almost totally SATURATED with all the dates, timings, days, symbols, guesses in relevance, etc., and so on, by those who want to "GET OUTTA HERE"!! Yes, I have studied these Feasts, and I KNOW that they are a "shadow of things to come"...Col.2:16. But something has always been "missing" for me, especially concerning the Feast of Tabernacles. And why is most of the world yet unsaved in spite of the thousands of churches which claim "Christianity".

After reading this article, I finally understood....it's speaking of the HARVESTS, which will ultimately include ALL PEOPLE in these resurrections.

From what Smith says, and I agree with it, this present time (from the time of Christ to the Second Coming) has NOTHING to do with the Feast of Tabernacles. That is, yet, over a thousand years in the future.

EVERY MAN SAVED IN HIS OWN ORDER

I Cor. 15:20, 23, 24 presents us with the type and fulfillment of the three harvest festivals:

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the FIRSTFRUITS OF [the rest of the firstfruits awaiting resurrection in His presence] them that slept ... But EVERY MAN [all mankind, the WHOLE human race] in his own ORDER: Christ the firstfruits..." (The Wave Sheaf of the very first of the firstfruits).

"Afterward they that are Christ’s [those who are now saved] at His coming [the rest of the firstfruits that are sleeping and those alive waiting]. (The Firstfruits, the Spring Harvest).

Then comes the END [The Fall Harvest, the Feast of Tabernacles]. "…and the feast of INGATHERING [of the Fall Harvest], which is in the END..." (Ex. 23:16). What did Jesus say would happen in "the end," at the "end of the Feast," "the last day," "the last great day of the feast?" "In the last day, that GREAT DAY OF THE FEAST, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If ANY MAN thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of LIVING WATER" (John 7:37-38).

With all the anticipation each year, and with all the calculations of those with a leaning toward mathematics and all things that are "Jewish", there has just been futile waiting....and disappointment. Maybe we should all have been looking at what God has actually SAID in the Bible, rather than man's interpretation of it. God is not "Jewish"....He is GOD!

And another thought I have is that most Christians today are only looking for a way out. They have very little thought (or love) for our Lord Jesus Christ, without Whom salvation would not be possible. I wonder what He thinks of most of us? Do you love HIM, or do you just love what He can do for you?
