Hi Steven...

I listened to this "Hagmann & Hagmann" interview with Steve Quayle and Pastor David Lankfort. It's mighty powerful stuff!! I think EVERY Christian should be aware of the dangers put forth by these men who really have a knowledge of the bible and a heart for Jesus Christ, our Lord.

I listened to it all carefully, and I agree with about 98% of both of them, and overall, it was pretty great. They brought out many things we all think about, but their focus was on the Book of Galations and the apostasy of II Thessalonians chapter 2, which is spreading within today's Christianity. Both gave great explanations for the reasons they believe what they do.

I won't be redundant by commenting word-for-word. But I do have a few comments that came to my mind while listening.

"Seduction" AWAY FROM Christianity (Grace through faith...Eph 2:8-9), and BACK TO the "religious" things of Judaism (see the Book of Galations), is what the new Christians were being encouraged to do. That's why God put this book of CRITICISMS of the new Christians in the Bible....FOR US TO SEE MISTAKES THAT WERE BEING MADE BACK THEN. But, we can't know these mistakes unless we READ THE BOOK!! And a person has to FIRST admit they have made a mistake BEFORE they can even begin to correct it.

I Timothy 4:1..."Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall DEPART FROM THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing spirits, and DOCTRINES OF DEMONS."

This verse is what Galations is all about....falling from the faith that the Church first had, and now had turned from "grace" back to "works". Once the Christians had been established in their faith, the Pharasees, Saducees, and leaders of the Jews told them that they had to follow the rules in the OT again...being circumcised, observing the Feasts and Festivals of Judaism, etc.

Paul told them in Gal.3:1-3..."O FOOLISH Galations, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth crucified among you? (vs.2) This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law; or by the HEARING OF FAITH? (vs.3) ARE YE SO FOOLISH? having BEGUN in the Spirit, and ye NOW made perfect by the FLESH?"

Many of today's "Christians" (or those who claim to be) are DOING THE SAME THING THAT JESUS HAD TOLD THEM NOT TO DO. They are becoming more and more "Jewish", and even calling our Saviour by the name of "Yeshua". Instead of "God bless you" as a parting comment, there is "Shalom"! We can see for ourselves what's going on....again!

Demons didn't tremble at the name of "Yeshua"....it was the name of "JESUS" which stopped them cold. Luke 8:28.."When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, 'What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not." This man was relieved of his demons at the name of "Jesus". Any demons in the bible were cast out in the name of "Jesus", and the same thing is true today. I'm not sure it would work in the name of "Yeshua", however. I wouldn't want to take the risk, myself, if the need came.

If the name of Jesus Christ served the "church" well for the last 2,000 years, why must people revert to Hebraisms AGAIN, as they did in the OT? The NT was written in Greek and Aramaic...and I think this was to show a move away Jewish thinking. But, that's only my own opinion.

Pastor Langford explained beautifully what the "apostasy" in II Thessalonians is all about. But hearing him is a lot better than my trying to comment on what he said, so I'll leave it to anyone who is interested to listen well.

PEOPLE NEED TO READ THEIR BIBLES! But they don't! Yes, they may pick it up for a verse or two and feel they have done what they should. I bought those little "tabs" with the names of all the different books for ease in bible searches. Even putting them in place was a learning experience. I think the tabs cost less than $5....and well worth it. I am now on my 4th Bible...I've worn out a lot of pages in the past. And, I still put tabs on every new one.

Yes, there definitely is getting to be a "famine" for the Word(s) of God, at least in this country. More and more Bible versions, and less and less knowledge. And this won't change until more people wake up to the truth.

As for the other "seductions" and "false prophets" (which Quayle called "profits"...$$$ being their main interest), I know only ONE way to not be deceived from today's deceptions that are all around us....READ, AND KNOW WHAT YOUR BIBLE SAYS. That's the only way to know the real from the false.

IF IT'S NOT IN THE "BOOK", DON'T BELIEVE IT! And that includes all "visions" and "dreams", in my way of thinking. God has told us everything we need to know. Read it!

For my last comment, I'd like to say I have no hatred for ANY person or group of people because of their "title" eg. Jew, Arab, Muslim, Buddhist, etc. All are equally loved in God's eyes. BUT, no group, or person, can possibly be saved outside of belief in our Lord Jesus Christ....today, or ever.

Great audio program to listen to for anyone who thirsts for truth.
