I had read all the various positions after God saved and just decided upon Pretrib. I never was sure and was confused by a lot of verses. Of course I felt good that I wouldn’t have to suffer at all (my built-in fleshy bias!). Then God laid it on my heart to seriously study it in 2007, and praise God He opened my eyes! From Marvin Rosenthal, Charles Cooper, Robert Van Kampen, Alan Kurschner, and others, Scripture became clear and all the verses harmonized! I rejoiced!

I then went back to my Pretrib books wondering how I was so easily deceived. Very simply – mention only a few verses and makes lots of assumptions about those verses. My jaw dropped when I saw how easily I was wrong! Now, about 8 years later as the Lord taught me how to interpret His Word, it was wonderful to see how the PreWrath teachings naturally reveal God’s clear prophetic timeline.

They placed their markers at PreWrath since they could see verses line up, however, it would take more study to understand it fully.
I then created a chart to visualize the sequence of events and taught our Bible study group. My chart had the 4 viewpoints and I gave each person a Rapture marker and 10 verses on puzzle pieces that linked the chronology of events. I then asked them to arrange their puzzle pieces using the ‘face-value’ interpretation and then put their Rapture marker on the chart where they thought it would occur. They placed their markers at PreWrath since they could see verses line up, however, it would take more study to understand it fully.

So I praise God that He even chose to reveal the future to us; what a blessing! Especially in this day and age!

Hi Steven....I've watched video on Cooper, and there are a few things I wanted to comment about.

I totally agree with him in a couple of things, especially during the few minutes of the video, when he said that "God is in charge" of everything that is going to happen and that we need not spend time worrying about it.

His view of the "Western" church is "spot on" as well. He calls it "effeminate" as it's major characteristic today. I agree with that in the way that the church has become weak through not understanding correct bible doctrine. They are told something by their Pastor, or church leader, and they believe it. The bible tells us what SHOULD be done whenever we hear something new...

Acts 17:11..."These were MORE NOBLE than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, whether those things were so."

God calls those people "noble" who find out if what they are told is true by searching the Bible to corroborate what they've heard. The present church of the Western world (I don't really know what other parts of the world do, to be honest) only repeats what they have heard by others as what they believe to be the truth. Weakness is sometimes not having to tell their pastors that something preached to them was not true. The Pastor is not supposed to be contradicted!

Mr. Cooper definitely stated that the Gospels are speaking to the Church, and not just to the Jews. He said, "There are NO contextual reasons to deny applicability to the church." And he is absolutely correct! The WHOLE bible is for everyone and not to be cut up into different pieces for different people.

One difference in agreement that I have with him is in the time of the tribulation being 7 years. The Book of Revelation has three time periods in the events which occur during that terrible time of trial and testing by God. There are "time, times, and half a time...Rev.12:14; Forty two (42) months...Rev.11:2 and 13:5; and 1260 days...Rev.11:3 and 12:6. There is nowhere a period of 7 years as a total time given.

Cutting 7 years into two periods of 3 1/2 is dispensationalism thinking...first half for the church and last half for the Jews. I don't find that in scripture, so it is not in my present beliefs.

Mr. Cooper tells of three "rapture" concepts...pre-trib, mid-trib, and post-trib (pre-wrath, actually, as the church is promised to not go through the wrath of God...I Thess.5:9). With the tribulation being only 3 1/2 years (42 months, or 1260 days), I can totally throw out the "mid-trib" theory.

I won't recount on why I believe it's pre-wrath now, as I have done that before, I believe.

Mr Cooper is one who seems to have a heart for God and His people, and is trying hard to make people understand views that they might not otherwise. His love for our Lord shows in His speaking...

Right now the world is enduring the wrath of satan much like Job did....
GOD allowed satan to tempt attack Job....
Once the tribulation begins ALL of the tribulation period is the wrath of GOD being poured out on planet Earth
Once again, its about Dispensations..... The church age ends at the rapture and GOD is back dealing with the Hebrews the final 7 years-- the tribulation period....
