Many Christians, including me, have pondered the meaning of Matthew 24:28..."For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together." The context seems to be the Second Coming our Lord Jesus Christ, which might be confused with the coming of the Antichrist, or "man of sin" (II Thess. 2:3). Some deception will be involved in this. We should be aware of where NOT to look. Jesus told us to :"look up" (Luke 21:28) and not at things in this world.

Being as brief as I possibly can, I will relate what I have found in a wonderful book I am now reading...A book by Rob Skiba entitled, "Babylon Rising (Book I): And The First Shall Be Last". In it he relates how and why the "first Antichrist" may just possibly be the same person as the "last Antichrist" by the possibility of cloning of DNA found in recent years in Iraq.

On Tuesday, April 29, 2003, a BBC news report announced that archaelogists had discovered the tomb of Gilgamesh? Some of us remember the Epic of Gilgamesh told to us as kids as a "fairy tale" type of thing. He was the "giant" held down by the very small people, etc. But, who was he, really? Did he exist?

Gilgamesh is known by many other names, among them are Baal, Adonis, Dionysis, Bacchus, Orion, Apollo, Tamuz, Osiris, and many others. When the Tower of Babel building was halted by God through the confusion of languages, the results were the speaking of people in 70 different languages. Each language had a different name for Nimrod, and one of these was Gilgamesh.

Why this is important to know is that America's occupation of Iraq began only ONE MONTH after the discovery of this tomb....in May of 2003. The excuse we were told for this occupation was to look for "weapons of mass destruction" that were, incidentally, never found. But, we are still in Iraq...and all over the Middle East as well as almost everywhere else in this world. The American government has been very busy all around the world. Are we all better off for it? You decide.

Back to the body found in a chamber deep in the ground in the deserts of Iraq. Steve Quayle stated that this body was remarkably preserved. Perhaps the point of being in Iraq, in the first place, was to extract the DNA from this body....and to retrieve other artifacts found deep under the ground in the desert. Science has come much further along in cloning from DNA than the general public knows. In fact, they are quite advanced in this. Google the subject of "clones and dopplegangers" for more information if you are inclined to learn more about this.

Will the "last" Antichrist actually be the person who was really the "first" Antichrist as Skiba's book strongly suggests? We should look to scripture to see if there are any further clues there. Rev.17 says, "And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition." So, someone who used to be alive, wasn't at the time John wrote the Book of Revelation, is going to be alive again. Does it fit? It seems to.

Skiba lists out possibilities of the following 7 as being candidates of the past Antichrists....Nimrod, Pharoah of Egypt, Sennacherub (King of Assyria), King of Tyre, Antiochus Epiphanes, Nero (or possibly Domitian depending on the date Revelation was written), and Hitler. The next clue would be to evaluate which one had something like a mortal head wound (Rev. 13:3). There are only 3 of these 7 who fit this description:

Nimrod.....The Book of Jasher (27:7) says that Nimrod died after Esau cut off his head.
Nero.....History states he stabbed himself in the throat. (Domitian is not known to have had mortal wounds to his head area.)
Hitler....Possibly yes, as rumors of his shooting himself in the head may or may not be true.

Of the three, only one has a connection to Babylon and who is an Assyrian (Isaiah 10:5)......NIMROD (Gilgamesh).

Would scripture be fulfilled by Nimrod being "resurrected" from the DNA of the body found in the hidden underground chamber found in the desert of Iraq? Read Matthew 24:24-28....

"For there shall arise FALSE CHRISTS, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (vs.25) Behold, I have told you before (in advance). (vs.26) Wherefore, if they shall say to you, Behold, he is IN THE DESERT (of Iraq); go not forth: behold, he is in the SECRET CHAMBERS (beneath the sands of Iraq); believe it not. (vs.27) For as lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (vs.28) For wheresoever the CARCASE (dead body) is, there will the EAGLES (American government and military) be gathered together."

The eagle is the national symbol of America as well as of other empires in the past and present. If you look at the uniforms of the American military, you will find lots of eagle symbols...on the shoulders, hats, collars, chests, buttons, etc. We appear to be a nation of "eagles", symbolically. The American dollar has the symbol of an eagle as one of it's properties, although, it is said by some, to actually be a phoenix. But, that's another story.

It sure is something to keep our eyes open for....and to think about!

Hi Steven...I saw the article on your Facebook site. I just wanted you to know that a piece was missing that I edited for after I first posted it. I had forgotten to explain about why the eagles would refer to the American military. On the uniforms, there are eagles everywhere. That part is on the article on your Forum site in case anyone missed it.

Wow!! I can't begin to thank you for that short video of the beach waves at San Diego Beach. It was no "little thing" to me..not at all!!

For the first three decades of my life, I lived in Massachusetts and just about "lived" at the beaches there during the summer months. Gloucester had few "waves", but my Dad loved it (I didn't). As a teenager, I frequented Hampton Beach in NH, which had lots of waves (and boys, too), and then, more in my early adult life, York Beach in Maine with fantastic waves (we didn't call it "surf" at that time).

Since I've moved to North Central Texas, that has been gone from my life. It's too far for me to drive to the ocean, so I don't. And because of this, for a very long time I've been missing all those waves and serenity to an extreme degree. And so, I watched your "beach" video with no distractions of people, noises, or anything that took away attention from those waves.....and tears ran down my cheeks!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Because of this, I feel so blessed today!
