"Plague #8 - Locusts - Hit Israel on Passover Eve!!"

Hi All,



According to the Jewish calendar converter website, Passover begins tonight at Sunset = Nisan 15 and will end at Sunset on Tuesday. However, the full moon is on Wednesday and the new moon was sighted later than expected. This means, sadly, we may not actually know the day nor hour that Passover actually begins in God's eyes since it may instead start at Sunset on Wednesday (two full days later).



This therefore may mean that Day 6 to 7 of Passover may be equal to Saturday sunset, March 30th to Monday sunset, April 1st (hence the high watch day on Easter Sunday). OR this may mean that Day 6 to 7 may be as late as Monday sunset, April 1st to Wednesday sunset, April 3rd (a day and hour we did not truly expect – would such delay, if it were to occur, discourage some?).



However, in relationship to all of this, the following article caught my eye, which IMO represents confirmation that the locust swarms in Egypt / Israel do indeed represent Plague #8. And, if so, what we should also expect Plague #9, 3 days of darkness, not too much prior to the Rapture / Sudden Destruction occurring.



Please note that the article below confirms the Jewish interpretation that tonight is the beginning of the Passover and that last night was Passover Eve (wherein God's interpretation of when Passover ACTUALLY begins in His eyes will obvious remain a mystery):

Arriving with Biblically resonant timing, latest arrivals are ready to reproduce. On the day before Passover, farmers in southern Israel were suffering from another plague of locusts, entering the country from Egypt with biblical timing.



The pests hit fields and greenhouses in the south; the Agriculture Ministry was working to prevent heavy damage to crops in the Negev and stop the insects from penetrating deeper into the country.



Unlike previous swarms that have entered Israel in the past month, the locusts that hit Israel Sunday are yellow and fertile and, in this stage of their metamorphosis, pose less risk to crops because they eat significantly less. Once the insects lay eggs and they hatch, however, Israeli farmers will face the threat of this wave’s insatiable brood, who will eat anything green in their path.



The new swarm hit Israel on the eve of the Passover festival, which marks the Israelites redemption from slavery in ancient Egypt, achieved after Egypt’s Pharaoh was hit by 10 divinely ordered plagues — the eighth of which was locusts.



At the start of the month the ministry launched a major crop-dusting campaign to combat earlier swarms. The ministry said at the time it feared warm weather would see additional locusts cross the border from the Sinai Peninsula, fears that were realized on Sunday.



In Egypt swarms of locusts, numbering hundreds of millions of insects, have recently been spotted over the Sinai, east of El Arish. Authorities there were facing difficulties eradicating the pests due to a failure in one of the main water pipes to the city.



MY PERSONAL OBSERVATION ON THIS EVENT: Obama "set up" the future desolation of Israel by going to Jerusalem on March 20 - 22, but essentially caused no initially “visible” harm. Similarly, this swarm of fertile locusts are "setting up" the future desolation of Israel's crops, but essentially are causing no initially “visible” harm. This seems a perfect analogy to me!! IMO, this seems to confirm that (a) this event (Obama in Jerusalem) was as big an event to God as we had thought it was AND (b) seems to confirm the logic that three days of darkness MAY be forthcoming prior to the Rapture, in some format. And, if so, that we should expect to see something visible for these three days, wherein this will be explainable by us watchers in context, yet remain daunting and scary to the non-watching and the lost.



Keep looking up, brothers and sisters in Christ, surely our redemption draws near!!
