The state of the church today is actually another sign that we are in the end times. The Word tells us that there will come a time when men will not endure sound doctrine......that there will be false teachers with itchig ears......ever increasing in truth but denying the power thereof....etc.

Some churches today have openly gay priests, preachers who will not preach against homosexuality and other sins, plus a slew of preachers who use the pulpit to extort money from viewers and congregants by tactics of guilt and taking scripture out of context.

Christians need to go back to the original practices of meeting in homes and being families of faith rather than meeting in ornate catehdals where many do not even know the others in attendance and all of the hand shaking and smiling is phony and huge budgets are needed just to keep the a/c going and the lights on and the staff paid with little left over to help those in need.

Jesus is about love, restoration and relationship, not the credentials of some pastor and where he went to school or how many degrees he has, or how many are in attendance at a particular service.

Church has become a business, while the business of Jesus is being ignored.

I think we know the answer to that....don't we?
