God is even now allowing the chastening of His people. In these last days, we hear of the terrible persecution and cries of the Copts in Egypt. This persecution will spread throughoutthe world wherever Christians are, particularly America at this time; then, I expect, expanding rapidly into Britain and Greece. All Christendom will be hated for His Name's sake, but God will be glorified through it all through those who have made themselves ready and who remain stedfast in Jesus, fearing nothing.

Jeremiah was set free, some were taken into captivity like Daniel, and some died.

So it wil be again.

Dont dispair if things dont turn out like your church said they would...
