No, these things you're seeing in the Rev are signifying counterfeit Christianity. When the bible refers to symbols in metaphoric language, it only and always refers to its own previous words- in other words, you can only understand the things the bible says by understanding the things the bible has previously shown you. Only in this way can one understand these things. The author is using previous teachings as a foundation upon which all is built together to the instruction of the righteous. Never try to understand the words of the scripture through your own reasoning- this leads always to death; but only understand it through its own teachings and these things will be made clear.

What these things signify is counterfeit Christianity- and it is presenting these by way of the symbolism of Israel- to say that Christianity as taught to the world by the false church is nothing but lies and corruption and perversion of the WORD OF GOD. The great mass of counterfeit Christianity is the enemy of truth, and instead of being a light to the world, it is full of darkness; and the things it teaches men concerning the kingdom of God is lies and blasphemies: by presenting "another Jesus" to the world it causes truth to become corrupted.

The beast from the sea is the dominion of Israel with its 10 horns singifying the 10 princes of northern house, and the 10 apostles; the 7 heads being the seven mountains of the seven kingdoms in subjection to the dominion, and the seven evangelists. The names of blasphemy are the names of the apostles and tribes. Note that this is not refering to the actual righteous apostles- but the "warped and perverted" image of them taught by the false doctrines of counterfeit Christianity.

Jos 22:14 And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel.

1Ki 11:31 And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
1Ki 11:35 But I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.

Mt 20:24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

De 7:1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girga****es, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
Ac 13:19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.

Ac 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
Ac 21:8 And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

Again be sure to understand that this is not saying that the twelve apostles and the seven evangelists are bad- or that Jesus is bad: but only that their image presented to the world through counterfeit Christianity is what is warped, and bad. Counterfeit Christianity does harm to the image of Christ and His apostles and evangelists by corrupting the WORD OF GOD and by teaching traditions of men in place of the WORD OF GOD.

The beast from the earth signifies the sanctuary of Judah with its two princes (in prophecy horns signify princes and powers as interpreted by the angel in the book of Daniel; mountains are kingdoms) and this is why it is like in appearence as "lamb" but has the voice of "dragon"; and these two horns are the two princes, and the two brothers of the apostles; and this false prophet is "another Jesus" (Adonikam- MY RISEN LORD- the only man in scripture with a counted number of 666); and so what you are seeing here at Rev 13 is signifying the blasphemous nature of counterfeit Christianity which perverts and upholds to the world a corrupted image of Israel; the apostles and Jesus Christ Himself.

The woman "mystery Babylon" is spiritual Jerusalem, this is why John is drawing his symbolism from the prophets speaking of Jerusalem as being an "insatiable" and "abominable" ***** (such as Ezekiel 16 which shows this same woman, and her same pernicious ways, and her same judgment by fire); and this is signifying the counterfeit Christianity in worship of the false prophet and here called "Great Babel" which means "Great Confusion" who is to be burned by fire.

Jer 4:30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

the following prophecy is an indictment against earthly Jerusalem in the days of the prophets; in our present time it is an indictment against Christianity (or, rather, Laodecian Christianity, as it were: for none of these things speak of Philadelphian Christianity, which is the true representation of the kingdom of God):

Eze 16:13 Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.
14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.
17 Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit *****dom with them,
18 And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them.

25 Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy *****doms.

32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!

This is speaking of the son of perdition, "another Jesus", antichrist- who will be receieved as the husdand of counterfeit Christianity; they will take a strnager and become married to him. This is why she is called "Great Confusion" and why Jesus prophesied this:

Joh 10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

But the false Christians will listen to the voice of the stranger (voice of the dragon) and follow him into perdition. Continuing at Ezekiel 16; judgment is pronounced upon her:

35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:
36 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy *****doms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;
37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

Re 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.
39 And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.
40 They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.
41 And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the *****, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Everything you're seeing in the Revelation is showing you the final confrontation between counterfeit Christianity and TRUE Christianity; this is what Armageddon actually is, the final confrontation between the wheat and the tares. True Christians, and false Christians.
