In all of my 52 years of Bible studies, I have only found two verses about the United States, and they are similar.

2Sa_7:23 says, "And what one (echad, united) nation (i.e., United States) in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?"

1Ch_17:21 "And what one (echad, united) nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?"

When Damascus ceases to be a city is the Day of God's Wrath. An asteroid (Rev 8: will impact the NE Mediterranean Sea. It will cause a great tsunami, and Damascus will be no more.

Isa_17:1 says, "The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap."

Isa 17:7 says, "At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel."

They will see the Sign of the Son of Man in the sky.

Isa 17:11 says, "In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow."

Isa 17:13,14 says, "The nations (i.e., Gog's army) shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. 14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us."

Eze 38:18-23 says, "And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain (i.e., a tsunami), and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD."

Dear Doves,
I have felt for quite sometime now the prophecy of Jeremiah was actually a prophecy for America! Now the Harbinger is released and I believe Isaiah is too!...

Harbinger proved that Isaiah 9:10 had a dual prophecy secretly encoded until the day of the event in Isaiah. What if dear Doves, Isaiah has more of it? America and Israel in a dual prophecy? I believe it does Read the following verses keeping America in mind instead of Israel and it appears it fits like a glove...made just for us. Our national sins are verses five through nine. Our Judgment verses 13-19. I must wonder is the judgment verses speaking of a Coastal city that has all of the elements from verses 13 through 18. There is only two possibilities that I can see California, and New York. I believe though this is speaking of a judgment on the Coast of California. I am not completely familiar with the landscape other than that in the movies. But California has lofty mountains seen from the coast, incredible lush greenery like the Redwoods, Beverly Hills is lifted up, Los Angeles has the High Towers to be brought down, The ships of the Pacific coast, including Yachts and the Beautiful Craft for modern day America is movies and music! I see in verse 18 a picture of the idols of Hollywood being completely destroyed. All of this done by a great earthquake (verse 19) You tell me what you think. Below I get into more verses that I believe are America as well. ( Fyi, since Hurricane Sandy actually caused tremors in the earth who knows Sandy could be the fulfillment of this judgment on New York instead.)
Because they are filled with influences from the east,
And they are soothsayers like the Philistines,
And they strike bargains with the children of foreigners.
7 Their land has also been filled with silver and gold
And there is no end to their treasures;
Their land has also been filled with horses
And there is no end to their chariots.
8 Their land has also been filled with idols;
They worship the work of their hands,
That which their fingers have made.
9 So the common man has been humbled
And the man of importance has been abased,

A Day of Reckoning Coming
13 And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up,
Against all the oaks of Bashan,
14 Against all the lofty mountains,
Against all the hills that are lifted up,
15 Against every high tower,
Against every fortified wall,
16 Against all the ships of Tarshish
And against all the beautiful craft.
18 But the idols will completely vanish.
19 Men will go into caves of the rocks
And into holes of the ground
Before the terror of the Lord
And the splendor of His majesty,
When He arises to make the earth tremble.
21 In order to go into the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs
Before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty,
When He arises to make the earth tremble.


Isaiah 3:9

The expression of the their faces bears witness against them, and they display their sin like Sodom; Woe to them.

Isaiah 3:18-26 the earthquake from verse 19 causes a disease of some sort to give you scabs and oozing sores. (Tells me the earthquake brings in a flood or tsunami because we have learned from the past earthquakes it is the flood that carries the disease and allows it to linger.)

Isaiah 5:8

Woe to those who add house to house and join field to field, Until there is no more room, so that you have to live alone in the midst of the land.

I see a picture of cities and suburbs here with row upon row or Row houses!

I ALSO BELIEVE THAT SYRIA WILL ATTACK IF WE DO AND WE WILL NOT WIN THAT WAR . Chapter 7:8 lays out for us that Rezin is the head of Damascus. We know that Damascus is modern day Syria. Now look at Isaiah 9:11 just after the Harbinger verse of 9:10.

Therefore the Lord raises against them adversaries from Rezin and spurs their enemies on.

I believe in light of 9:11 Syria will attack and prevail with the aid of Iran and Iraq.
