"The X Generation and the Mark of the Beast"

Perhaps the X generation, those young people who are now at voting age, helps to explain what happened to the election Tuesday. We have millions of young people in this country who have grown up coddled, spoiled, and nurtured in the "gospel of progressivism and evolution". It is a ME FIRST, YOU SECOND generation. Many of them are totally void of any morals or ethics whatsoever and they are drifting in a sea of drugs, gangs, and indecisiveness, and many of these young voters see a new "messiah" figure in B.O. Many have never set foot inside a church door and they really do believe that they descended from monkeys. They see in B.O. a way to get a continuation of "free stuff" that they feel they are entitled to , because after all - their parents have been providing them with all the "free stuff" they want since they can remember, right? Look at all the riots in Greece! These are people who are suddenly alerted to the fact that all their "free stuff" is suddenly being taken away from them.

Many of these young people know nothing of the hardships that many of their parents and grandparents faced. I mean, just think about all the young people in Japan who were suddenly stripped of their Ipads, Ipods, cell phone technology, laptop capability, etc., etc. after the horrible earthquakes and tsunami there. Many of those affected are lost to death without all their toys that they grew up with! They can't even communicate with their peers face-to-face because they are used to communicating by emails and texting. My heart breaks when I think of the prospect of many of them being left behind when the rapture occurs, because we know that is what will happen. I have relatives in my own family that fit this category - they are self-centered, self-absorbed, young, ignorant, and have no knowledge whatsoever of the warnings in the scripture about the Mark of the Beast. When it is enforced, many thousands of them will line up and welcome it as simply the newest TATTOO fad that they can add to another part of their body. And of course, we ALL KNOW that those who REFUSE the Mark of the Beast will lose all their "free stuff"! Want to keep your food stamps? Take the Mark. Want to keep your welfare checks coming? Take the Mark.

They will have doomed themselves out of ignorance. You try to witness to them, warn them about what is coming, and you get rewarded with this crooked little "grin" at the corner of their mouth like "yeah, sure man - and you are so crazy," and they may say nothing at all, but you KNOW that is exactly what they are thinking. It really saddens me, but I continue to pray for all of them. God can do the impossible. Hopefully, He will allow us, through Him, to reach many of them before it truly is too late. I always LOVE to see young people who are totally in love with the Lord on TV. There are so few of them....
