Please Pardon This Interruption!

By faith, Noah being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith (Hebrews 11:7).

Watching a movie? The World Series, Monday Night Football or a presidential debate…when to your annoyance…“Breaking weather alert, storm warning issued for the east coast. Hurricane Sandy is approaching, please take shelter.”

A. Ignore warning and go back to regular programming and “take your chances” or:

B. Repent and believe the message and then do as warned and “take shelter.”

Millions of people have sat glued to this week’s huge story of Hurricane Sandy. Many listened and took to heart the warning of this monstrous storm and counted the cost of staying in its path or fleeing the wrath of Sandy to come. For good reason, many chose the smart answer and are now STILL alive even though they are going through a tremendous time of cleanup and heart- ache…they will have survived.

What stirs me to the core is how in this instance MANY heard the warnings and took them to heart and found a temporary salvation. YET many of these same people will ignore the warnings to a much larger storm that is brooding and on the horizon ...

Jeremiah 23:19:

“See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down
on the heads of the wicked.”

What does the storm of the Lord include?

90-100 pound Hailstones: Rev 16:16-20
Great earthquake leaving NO ISLANDS on earth and
taking down every mountain on earth. Rev 16:17-21
1/3 of the earth is burned up, 1/3 of trees, and all the grass Rev 8:7
1/3 of the sea is turned into blood Rev 8:8-9
The abyss (bottomless pit) opens and locust-like scorpion creatures arise Rev 9:2-3
Evil angels released to kill 1/3 of mankind Rev 9:13-15
Painful sores break out on people that have taken the mark of the beast Rev 16:2
The sun will scorch people with fire Rev 16:8-9

And even worse ...is that which will never end...a lake of fire.

Stop and think PLEASE.

The “storm” of the Lord is God making Himself known to a people who have rejected the knowledge made available through creation and the testimony of His Son Jesus Christ. God gladly sacrificed His Son in order to redeem mankind unto Himself and doesn’t take it lightly that so many have taken that free gift and exchanged it to worship mankind instead of the God, who made man.

The worship of man instead of God has lead to all kinds of godless results that God had graciously warned us about:

”Do Not be deceived God will not be mocked whatsoever a man sow that will He also reap” Galatians 6:7.

We are all witnesses to the darkness of this hour... “Zombie attacks,” “child predators,” “late term abortion rooms” (where abortion surviving babies are left to die), Adult Entertainment is a LEADING INDUSTRY! “Wars and rumors of war,” nuclear arsenals being prepared to “wipe out Israel?” A loving God takes note and says, “I’ve had it...if I leave you to yourselves, “No flesh will survive.”

Here is a sobering truth: The very things that invoke a loving God’s wrath are things that will look more and more scary to our carnal man…

Storm clouds on the horizon have some asking questions…

“Man, dude, Tim, something is up.”

Many in the free world are “prepping” by stocking up supplies and “arming themselves’ with weaponry…although reports vary, by all accounts the increase in gun sales are up drastically as many plan on making their version of “survivor” in a world gone mad. The really rich are buying extravagant bomb shelters, gold and silver too! Government institutions are arming themselves big time! Over 1.2 billion rounds of ammo have been purchased for agencies such as the Social Security Administration. Interesting....

In recent days I’ve sat and watched the riots in Spain, Greece, Egypt and Libya and have been blown away by the rampant increase in “organized chaos” as all of these events taking place across the globe have NOT been spontaneous events despite what some government leaders have said. Instead, they have all been planned and orchestrated events. The author of confusion and chaos is working feverishly to literally conquer the world and as the Bible has warned he comes to kill, to steal, and to destroy. Looking at the signs of many of his unknowing followers you will read “Kill the Infidels,” “Destroy Israel,” “Death to the USA” or “Occupy Until the Rich Die,” “A Million Martyrs to March on Jerusalem.”

Sorry to say this, but if you think the coming election is going to stop the ascending tide of growing GLOBAL angst...

This won’t be very popular but a Romney victory is going to be no more help than if had the Titanic replaced their captain after striking the iceberg. At best it will cause a temporary sigh of relief… “Peace and safety” but if you think the “Occupy” and Muslim Brotherhood movements are going to “calm down” I have some ocean front property in Missouri for sale! This is truly a “perilous time” no matter who wins the coming election.

America has truly become a house divided and the division is growing volatile. If Romney wins there is growing and escalating threats of violence and riots, not only toward him but those who will have voted him in: RACIST, bigots, domestic terrorists who carry Bibles and guns.” And if somehow Obama is re-elected the despair level, which is already setting records on the misery index will surely sky rocket, followed by more prepping and increased gun sales.

In the near future things are going to be happening that will cause you to be severely tempted to fear and even feel like you are surrounded. It’s hard not too when you see all that is taking place right before our eyes. Just this past week “Fox News in the Morning” had a man on talking about the numerous (minimum of 35 known) Jihad camps here in America training and preparing for war against we “infidels.”

Lara Logan the journalist who was brutally attacked during the Arab Spring in Egypt is sounding an alarm to all who will listen that terrorism is ramping up efforts and doubling down on achieving their stated goal of global rule all the while their very leaders The Muslim Brotherhood are being invited to White House meetings while the Prime Minister of Israel is being treated as a stepchild.

Many would say, “Ignorance is bliss” and continue to live with no awareness instead of heeding 1 Peter 5:8-9:

“Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.”

Again the very things that invoke the wrath of Almighty God are not going to subside because of a political victory. It would take an “Act of God” to get mankind to turn from the course its on and that is exactly what is going to be happening more and more as the whole earth groans for the day of redemption. But unfortunately many will follow the way of the infamous Egyptian Pharaoh... and there in lies the whole crux of it ALL!!

Life was a gift to all mankind and it was to be lived under the sole governance of God Himself. It was NEVER intended for us to live for one second outside of His providence and care. The reality is that we really don’t live outside of His providence because we are only alive at His enabling…we are like fish and He is the water we are living in Him. We were told, “In ALL your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your steps.” God is no respecter of persons whether you are president or peasant. It is His good desire to give us the kingdom.

HIS KINGDOM that is filled with righteousness, and peace and joy! Almighty God, the One who owns all the gold and silver and exalts and puts down has written this story knowing the end from the beginning and He has given mankind many invitations to an eternal life of absolutely indescribable riches and glory in His presence but unfortunately the masses of this time have rejected this invitation and are settling for crumbs of a lesser god in a fallen world that is perishing.

And because of this fact...God has forewarned those of us He has created for “such a time as this” to be “armed” with a mindset of understanding that as Psalm 9 says, “The nation that forgets God shall be turned into hell” but as our Lord tarries ...in His goodness, He is working through His “called out ones” to:

“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2)

We have got to seriously take to heart some things we might have used to not really want to pay attention to:

1 Peter 4:1-7:

“Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.

They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.”

Mathew 5:11-12:

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Matthew 5:43-48:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Mathew 10:24-31:

“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

Tim, are you trying to be an alarmist? EXACTLY!!! And please don’t hit the snooze button.

In a former time there was a voice crying, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord.” Please notice the “PRE.” The only time to get ready is now, “now is the appointed time.” “Today is the day of salvation.” God is once again raising-up that voice throughout the earth. And just as the voices were warning of Hurricane Sandy to hurry up and prepare...we too, need to take the message of this hour to heart!

They who have ears to hear...let them hear!

You may never again have the opportunity to pray for your family like you do today ...you may never again have the opportunity to forward the gospel message to friends and family like you do now.

We may never be able to give a drink of water, nor feed the hungry nor cloth the naked in Jesus name .In John chapter 9, Jesus said it was important to work now for there is coming a time when “no man can work.”

I don’t know the day, I don’t know the hour but I do know the season....

I look outside and see the fall leaves that had recently changed colors now falling to the ground. Farmers have put up their hay and are preparing the fields for a future season...winter will soon be here.

I also look and see:

*1948 Israel Reborn—The final countdown began
*1.5 billion dollars being given to the Muslim Brotherhood (radical Islam)
*Radical Islam rising and encamping about Israel (prelude to Jacob’s trouble)
*War on terror and rumors of more war
*Earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunamis growing in intensity
*Good being called evil and evil being called good (Pro-Life vs. Pro Choice/death)
*Global economic upheaval (Greece, Spain, California, USA 16 trillion and counting, the Eurozone teetering)
*Growing animosity and hatred toward anything “Christian”
*Same sex unions, violence, “As it was in the days of Noah”

If you are going through life trapped in the matrix of business as usual....
Pardon the Interruption…but “WAKE UP and TAKE SHELTER.”

Romans 13:11:

“This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”

If you are reading this and you are asking, “What must I do to be saved from the storm to come?”
Romans 10:9-13:

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
