Someone recently sent Elijah and myself an email asking about the interpretation of two difficult verses, so we would like to share with you our interpretation:
Ezekiel 21:3,4
3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
4 Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
I told him to read through Ezekiel chapter 20 which gives the setting of how God felt about the nation of Israel, and indeed all nations that do not put Him first. God Himself stated several times in that chapter that His people were polluting His sabbaths and were very rebellious against Him and this was unacceptable, that He was going to have to purge them, thus the judgment of these two verses in Ezekiel 21:3,4, that He would cut off both the righteous and the wicked.
Now here's the question that arises from these verses: Why God would God do such a thing, to "cut off both the righteous and the wicked"?
Well, here is the interpretation:
Elijah said that Ezekiel 21:3 about the righteous and the wicked, that the righteous did not stand up to the wicked over their wickedness, therefore the righteous lost their righteous standing before God for their failure to do so. Elijah also said people today won't stand up for what they believe out of fear of losing their jobs.
The judgment upon Israel was to be a witness to the nations, Ezekiel 20:48, Ezekiel 21:5, i.e., "to all flesh", that the heathen would see it is God's judgment upon Israel, and that they would learn something from it, that they weren't keeping His commandments, even though they claimed to be keeping them.
Elijah added, "It's not what you say. It's what you do."

That person who Emailed us had a second question in that Email. He said he was going to go to a job interview the next day and hypothetically asked us, since it was the type of job that required working in shifts, would it be alright to work, say two hours into the sabbath if he had to, sabbath running from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, the seventh day of the week.
This was our answer:
That's the wickedness of this world, changing its rest day to Sun God Day. Elijah says, "Do you love Jesus more than the job? If you don't keep His commandments, (sabbath being from sundown to sundown) how can we say you love Him?"
God's Way is costly, but if we love God, we obey Him and put even our livelihood on the line as Jesus did. He put His life on the cross, and we have to do the same, in taking up our cross. Matthew 10:37.

IN ORDER TO SHOW THAT I STILL LOVE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS,I DECIDE TO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY FOR JOB INTERVIEW INSTEAD.
AND UNTIL NOW I DON'T RECEIVE THE REPLY FROM THAT MANAGER .
PLEASE PRAY FOR MY ORIENTATION.
