"THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD" IS WITHOUT QUESTION A VERY IMPORTANT YEAR FOR THE LORD AND FOR US.....





Isaiah 61:2

"To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God."



This tells us that 'the day of God's vengeance' will come in "the acceptable year of the Lord". We who are knowledgable in the Scriptures know that the day of God's vengeance will be directed toward Israel for their unrepentance. The Church/bride is not appointed to wrath, but will be raptured out of the way of the great tribulation of Israel.



Luke 4:19 Jesus is speaking

"To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." (And then He closed the Book and sat down.) Why did he close the book at that point ?



To my knowledge this is the only time that Jesus is recorded in the Scriptures as actually reading a prophecy from the prophets. This must be extremely important. What He did not read is instructive in of itself.



This is conjecture on my part, but I believe that for a particular year to qualify as "the acceptable year of the Lord" it must also be a 'year of perfect order' in which the days of the week exactly coincide with the actual days of the Passion Week. The New Moon first day of the month of Nisan must fall on a Thursday so the the Passover falls on Wednesday the fourteenth and the Resurrection falls on Sunday the eighteenth.



The next time that happens according to the NASA Lunar Calendar for Israel is: New Moon Nisan 1, 5776 which is Thursday April 7, 2016 which is also in the next Jubilee Year (1967 + 49 = 2016).



Look what James and Joel say about the first month which is Nisan:



James 5:7

"Therefore be patient, brethren, until THE COMING OF THE LORD. see how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early AND LATTER RAIN."



Joel 2:23

"...For He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you - the former rain, AND THE LATTER RAIN IN THE FIRST MONTH."





Therefore we are promised that Jesus, who is the Latter Rain, will come down for us in the first month which is Nisan.



This Scripture is also speaking of the first month of Nisan, and not "still four months" later:



John 4:34-36

"My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. Do you not say there are still four months and then comes the harvest ? Behold i say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields for THEY ARE ALREADY white for harvest. And He who reaps receives wages, AND GATHERS FRUIT FOR ETERNAL LIFE..."



Therefore we are told that the Lord will "finish His work" by rapturing the Church/bride in the first month of Nisan, not "still four months" later because like the white Barley the Church/bride is "ready for harvest" by the rapture. "He who reaps" is Jesus who "gathers fruit for eternal life" , the firstfruits of the Spirit, by the rapture of His Church/bride in the first month of Nisan.

Zechariah 12:3,9:
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people; And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

The first coming was to the purging of carnal Israel; the second coming is to the purging of spiritual Israel. The vengeance to come will most certainly be squarely directed at the churches of Christ and NOT carnal Israel. The Great Tribulation is not for the TRUE Christians- but for the FALSE Christians; the purpose of the Great Tribulation has nothing at all to do with carnal Israel, and everything to do with spiritual Israel. The purpose of the Great Tribulation is to separate the sheep (sincere Christians striving with God) from the goats (professing Christians whose hearts are not striving with God). The Christians whose lips profess Christ but hearts are far from Him; the Christians who have turned the Holy Temple into a den of theives and liars; they which have corrupted the Holy Temple with false doctrines and lying promises; they which work iniquity and builded up CONFUSION and lead men astray from the Lord of Hosts and His ETERNAL WORD- these Christians will be CUT OFF from the NAME OF ISRAEL.

But to them that follow the WORD OF GOD out of a sincere heart, striving to lay hold of the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD: peace and joy, they will obtain that which they seek, and they will be made pillars in the Temple of God to serve Him in TRUTH; and will receive the inheritence prepared for them from the foundation of the world.

These faithful Christians will not be taken out of the world in opposition to the prayer of the Only Begotten; but they will be protected from the evil on every side.

Joh 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
Joh 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Psa 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
