"Day counts of interest"

Dear John and All:
As we know, Daniel's 70th week begins with the confirmation of a covenant. According to some popular thought (and I agree with the plausibility), the covenant is confirmed as a result of a war. The war could be the "sudden destruction" that accompanies our departure. There is time for the rapture, a war, and a confirmed covenant with the sequence ending in early November. "October surprise" indeed! We could be checking out any time now.
The day counts are intriguing. From this coming November 4th to Rosh Ha Shannah 2019 (September 29th) is 2,520 days. Those days are counted "noon to noon" so there is actually another day. To put it another way, 2,520 days inclusive would run from November 5th 2012 to Sep 29th 2019.
There is a "theory" out there that the first 1,260 days of the Tribulation run, then the "clock stops" for the three days between the death of the two witnesses and their resurrection/ascension. If the Trib begins this year on Cheshvan 17 (November 1-2) with the confirmation of the covenant, the first half runs through April 14, 2016 and the second half begins on April 17th and runs until Trumpets 2019. "Intermission" would occur during the 2016 Passover season.
Passover in 2016 is April 23rd (beginning on the evening of April 22nd). On Nisan 10 the Passover Lamb is selected. This maps to Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, fulfilling Zechariah 9:9. However, the Jews are still looking for that fulfillment. Jesus said that one would come in his own name, and the Jews would receive him (John 5:43). I don't find it hard to believe that the two witnesses begin their ministry this November, and will be rather unpopular in 3 1/2 years, having spent 1,260 days "tormenting those who dwell on the earth." (Rev. 11:10) Then, on the anniversary of Christ's entry on Nisan 10, this "false messiah" enters Jerusalem, kills the two witnesses (the date in 2016 will be five days before Passover: April 17-1
and presents himself as not only the messiah (which the Jews may believe) but eventually as God.More on Cheshvan 17: As most of us know, Methuselah was the oldest person to ever live, and his death served as a warning to his generation that the judgment of God was about to fall. According to Hebrew tradition, he died on Cheshvan 11. According to the medieval rabbi Rashi, the flood was delayed for seven days to mourn his passing (thanks to Tom Gaston for this information). Counting inclusively, and as we know from Genesis 7:11, the flood began on the 17th day of the second month. That anniversary is 18 days from now.
Also of interest: Pastor Daniel Lizarraga does his count coming back, not from Trumpets, but from Yom Kippur (October 9, 2019) and lands on this coming November 16th.
Many of us may still be "walking wounded" after the October 7th "disappointment" and I'm not setting a date, just suggesting another possibility. My message is the same: we will see our King face-to-face and it behooves each of us to be spiritually ready.
Should be an interesting couple of weeks.
