Rapture Bible Prophecy Forum

(Rapture is a Vatican/Jesuit Lie )
The "Resurrection" has been erroneously labeled The "Rapture".
THERE IS NO RAPTURE

WHY THE TITLE RAPTURE BIBLE PROPHECY FORUM?
WE STARTED OUT BELIEVING IN A 7 YR PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE
BUT FOUND OVER TIME AROUND 2006 THAT THE BIBLE DOES NOT SHARE A
BIBLE VERSE WHATSOEVER INDICATING A 7 YR PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE

BIBLE VERSES EVIDENCE:

While Yahusha/JESUS was alive, He prayed to His Father: "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  John 17:15 (KJV)

Yahusha/JESUS gave signs of what must happen before His Return:  "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"  Matt. 24:29 (KJV)

"What did all the prophets have in common?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two things were common to the prophets.

The prophets in our bibles all had several common denominators. First, they all preached repentance. I'm referring to the true prophets of course. Israel had a number of false prophets who tickled the ears of the people and gained large followings and rich earthly rewards.

That brings us to the second thing that the true prophets had in common. They were all acquainted with grief and sorrow. Jeremiah springs quickly to mind. Jeremiah is known as the weeping prophet. Jeremiah was reviled by his kin and the people at large. His message of repentance and impending doom was ignored. He was beaten and imprisoned. Elijah too was chased and persecuted. Examine the lives of the other prophets and see how they were treated.

When a popular so called prophet delivered a message as he stood in fine clothes, ate fine foods and retired to his comfortable home it should have called his ministry into question. Even king David was a man who started as someone who was persecuted. He was chased throughout the land. As an old man he was even chased from his home by his son. David was well acquainted with grief and sorrow.

If a man says he is a prophet, examine his life.

James 5:10 says "Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience."

"Acts 7 and Matthew 21 & 23...suffering prophets"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Acts 7
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers

Some prophets suffered under gentiles, like Daniel, but most suffered at the hands of their own people Israel. The Lord Jesus mentions this in connection with His lamentation over Jerusalem. Jesus says, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee" (Matt. 23:37 ). He also tells of this in connection with His parable of the householder demanding fruit from His vineyard. The servants in the parable are the prophets, whom they beat and stoned and killed (Matt. 21:33-41 ).

Re: Bruce Baber: "What did all the prophets have in common?"

They died in faith, not having recieved the promise but having seen them afar off, Heb. 11: 13

some were tortured ( 11: 35) beaten, miocked, 36 , they were stoned, sawn in two,37, they wandered in the desert, 38,

Hebrews Hall of faith victory for all who were more than conqueres through him who first loved us.
